Tomas Satoransky was turning in a monster game before he was knocked out of the game on Saturday, posting a career-high 25 points to go with five triples, three rebounds, six assists and two steals with a 10-of-12 shooting line in 31 minutes.
Satoransky has really been running with the starting point guard job of late, so his potential concussion is an absolutely brutal injury. He was thwarted on a dunk attempt by Bobby Portis and his head hit the floor on the way down. Portis was ejected on the play, and he actually broke Tim Frazier‘s nose earlier in the game with a collision. The Wizards have precious little guard depth at the moment but based on his recent play you have to think Satoransky will resume the starting role if his injury isn’t a long-term thing. The second-year player has been very impressive this season, and it’s good to see the Wizards finally giving him minutes.
