Tyreke Evans scored 18 points off the bench in Wednesday’s loss to the Mavs, hitting 7-of-13 shots (including two threes) with nine rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers in 30 minutes.
Evans has brought back fourth round value on the season and he’s custom-built to mop up stats on a Grizzlies team devoid of playmaking. He’s an injury risk and teams generally tire of the bad basketball decisions, and along with Mike Conley’s eventual return, this is a massive sell-high moment. If owners can get anything in the top-75 they’re doing it right.
