Devin Booker made his return to action in Tuesday’s 99-97 win, netting a game-high 32 points on 9-of-21 from the field and 11-of-12 from the line to go with five rebounds, six assists, three triples and a steal.
Booker fouled out in 36 minutes but there was a lot to like about tonight’s performance. He looked pretty spry out there and scored 20 in the first half, and Phoenix didn’t feel compelled to keep his minutes in check in his first game back. While Booker was more hype than substance last season, he’s done a great job of increasing his output in rebounds, assists and steals while upping his efficiency to boot. Booker’s in the midst of a career-year and should cruise to third-round value.
