Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns were at it again on Friday, combining for 47 points in a massive 103-102 win over the Warriors on Friday.
The young guns are alright for Minnesota. The game set a Target Center attendance record with many hoping to see the Golden State Road Show, but it was the scrappy Wolves coming up big and possibly reinvigorating their playoff chase. Wiggins shot 9-of-21 on his way to 24 points and four boards while Towns shot 10-of-18 with two threes on a 23 point, 9 rebound night. KAT also chipped in two blocks for good measure. He’s been a top-5 player over the past three months and is poised to finish strong, even if he broke his seven game streak of 14+ rebounds. Breaking: KAT is good.
