Aaron Gordon played 34 minutes in a win against the Grizzlies on Monday, finishing with 30 points (11-of-15 from the field, 4-of-5 from the line), four 3-pointers, one board, one assist, one steal, one block and no turnovers.
This is an extremely encouraging line from Gordon as he hasn’t cracked 30 minutes of playing time since December 14th when he dropped 33 points against Austin Rivers and the Clippers. Jeff Green only played 23 minutes tonight and that may be due to his poor shooting from the field (2-of-11). AG’s line was empty in the rebounding category, but that’s a small gripe considering the contributions everywhere else. He won’t score this well typically, but he’s definitely worth the pickup if he was dropped in your league. Grab him because there aren’t many better stashes out there, especially with the Magic pressured to deal a big man before the trade deadline.
