A number of borderline Bulls plays we’ve been touting due to their schedule advantages all struggled in the box score on Saturday against the Jazz.
Justin Holiday played 15 minutes and hit 1-of-4 shots for two points, two rebounds and one assist, and Mike Dunleavy missed all three of his shot attempts for one point, three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 26 minutes. A lot came down to Derrick Rose dominating the ball (and being good) for 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting with three rebounds and four assists, and the Jazz generally being a good defensive team. Obviously owners have to be realistic about the risk involved with either Holiday or Dunleavy next week, but if you need a Hail Mary both are worth a look because of the five-game week that follows.
