Jonas Valanciunas had a productive outing in a win against the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, scoring 14 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. He did not get any blocks, but did manage to swipe two steals on defense.
Valanciunas played 31 minutes, the most he’s logged over his last five games. He thrived against in an easy match-up against Timofey Mozgov in this one. He’s turned out to be a low-end big man this season, but has shown in the past that he’s capable producing better averages. As long as Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan are healthy, Valanciunas will have a tough time getting the touches he needs.
