Tim Duncan said he is undecided on his plans to retire after the Spurs lost Game 6 to the Thunder on Thursday.
Did everyone really think that Duncan would retire on the spot after losing the series to the Thunder? Similar to Peyton Manning’s decision, Tim Duncan has earned the right to take his time and decide on his future when he feels he is ready. The Big Fundamental struggled throughout the 2015-16 postseason, but went out with a bang scoring 18 points in Thursday’s loss. He will go down as arguably the greatest power forward of all time and also the greatest post Jordan-era player. There’s popular belief that Duncan has played his last game in the NBA and will go out in the most Duncan way possible — quietly into the Texas sunset with no farewell tour in sight.
Tim Duncan on his future: "I'll get to that when I get out of here and figure life out."
