Abdel Nader

Fantasy News

  • Dennis Schroder
    PG, Oklahoma City Thunder

Dennis Schroder will miss Wednesday's matchup with the Lakers for personal reasons.

Schroder previously left the bubble to attend the birth of his child, so he will have to quarantine even when he is able to return. Schroder shot 46.9 percent during the regular season which was the best mark of his career. Abdel Nader scored 13 points in as many minutes in his absence on Monday.

  • Danilo Gallinari
    SF, Oklahoma City Thunder

Danilo Gallinari shot 4-for-9 from behind the arc and ended Monday's defeat to the Thunder with 20 points.

Gallinari went 6-for-14 from the field while adding three rebounds and two assists. He has shined with a 40.8 percent conversion rate from downtown this season. However, the Nuggets would go on to win 121-113 in overtime. Abdel Nader added 13 points in 13 minutes off the bench.

  • Abdel Nader
    SF, Oklahoma City Thunder

Abdel Nader suffered a concussion in a scrimmage last Friday but was able to return on Saturday and score two points in three minutes.

Nader may have been limited since he is returning from a concussion and could see his playing time increase in the next few games. Nader scored 6.0 points in 15.8 minutes per game this season. His biggest competition for minutes is Darius Bazley (10 points and seven rebounds in 29 minutes on Saturday). If Nader's minutes increase it would likely come at the expense of Bazley, but neither player is reliable enough for fantasy purposes.

Abdel Nader has been placed in the NBA's concussion protocol.

Nader sustained a concussion in Friday's scrimmage against the Celtics. In the midst of a career year, any prolonged absence from Nader would likely open up some additional minutes for Darius Bazley at the forward spot. The fantasy impact is minimal.

  • Abdel Nader
    SF, Oklahoma City Thunder

Abdel Nader was only a top-325 fantasy value in 2019-20 but set a number of career-highs, including 15.5 minutes, 5.9 points, 0.7 assists, 0.4 blocks and 0.8 3-pointers per game.

Nader, a former G League standout, finally carved out a rotation spot at the game's top level. He also made five starts, slotting into the forward mix when other Thunder were injured. He holds limited fantasy appeal but might be able to make a case for deep-league value if he can continue to earn more minutes in future seasons.

Abdel Nader played well in a win over the Celtics on Sunday with six points and a career-high four blocks.

Nader shot 2-of-4 from the field and added three boards to the box score. Nader can be left on the wire as this was merely a fluke defensive outing.

Abdel Nader (ankle) is available to play vs. the Kings on Wednesday.

Nader is just a role player for the Thunder and it isn't likely that he will be worth rostering in 14-team leagues this season.

Abdel Nader (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

  • Terrance Ferguson
    SG, Oklahoma City Thunder

Terrance Ferguson (personal) and Abdel Nader (ankle) will not play against the Magic on Wednesday.

Hamidou Diallo, Dennis Schroder and Darius Bazley are looking at a few extra minutes in this one.

Abdel Nader will miss Monday's showdown against the Rockets due to a left ankle sprain.

That'll be Nader's fourth straight game on the sidelines. He's been receiving minutes in the mid-teens lately and does not make much of them. Best to not bother wasting your fantasy memory space on Nader.

Abdel Nader (left ankle sprain) will miss his third straight game on Saturday against the Blazers.

Nader's minutes have been very inconsistent this season and with a 6.2 point, 1.8 rebound, 0.9 triple season average, he is very from the fantasy radar so no implications here.

Abdel Nader (left ankle sprain) is out for Friday's game against the Heat.

Nader will remain out for another game and he's not really worth much in fantasy with Danilo Gallinari active.

Abdel Nader (left ankle sprain) will miss Wednesday's game.

Nader left Monday's game and was unable to return. He's emerged as a decent depth piece for the Thunder but his absence won't change much for fantasy GMs.

The Thunder say Abdel Nader is questionable to return to Monday's game due to a left ankle sprain.

Nader has played just six minutes in this game so far. Keep an eye out for updates, as he'll certainly be overshadowed by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's incredible performance.

  • Danilo Gallinari
    SF, Oklahoma City Thunder

Danilo Gallinari will miss the next three games due to a sore left ankle.

This news means that Gallo will be out through the weekend. His next opportunity to play will come on Tuesday against the Mavs. Terrance Ferguson, Darius Bazley and Abdel Nader will see an increase in minutes for as long as Gallinari misses time.
