  • Alex Poythress - F - Atlanta Hawks

Alex Poythress did not play in Wednesday's loss to the Pacers.

Poythress played 21 games on the year and did not crack top-350 value in those limited instances. He is not on the radar in any format heading into next season.

Alex Poythress is experiencing swelling in his ankle after spraining it on Wednesday and will be out a while.

Poythress has not been fantasy-relevant so he can be left on the wire. The extra minutes on the wing will likely fall to DeAndre' Bembry.

Alex Poythress sprained his ankle on Wednesday and will not return.

Poythress finishes the game with four points and six rebounds. He's not much of an asset outside of mega-deep leagues.

  • Alex Poythress - F - Atlanta Hawks

Alex Poythress played a surprising 26 minutes in Sunday's win over the Bulls, posting nine points, five rebounds, three assists, a steal, a block and two 3-pointers in the process.

Poythress hasn't suited up for the Hawks since December 31. He was a solid contributor very early on in the season and clearly has a sneaky stat set, but we'll need to see this a few more times before making any moves here outside of 30-team leagues.

The Hawks have recalled Alex Poythress from the Erie BayHawks

Nothing much to see here. Poythress is not in the regular rotation and will be spending most of his time in the G-league this season to develop.

The Hawks have assigned Alex Poythress and Jaylen Adams to the Erie BayHawks.

Poythress and Adams will spend plenty of time in the G-League this season. There is no reason to look at either player in fantasy leagues.

The Hawks have recalled Alex Poythress and Jaylen Adams from the Erie BayHawks.

The BayHawks play a game on Tuesday, but then have three days off. The recall is likely to add some depth to the Hawks and give some young players experience while their G-League team has some time off.

The Hawks have recalled Alex Poythress from the G-League.

The Hawks have been thin in the frontcourt due to injuries and Poythress will provide some depth for the game. It wouldn't be a surprise if he is transferred back to Erie in the next few days.

Alex Poythress has been sent to the G-League.

Poythress is on a two-way deal. He's been a nice depth piece for the Hawks this year but we wouldn't be surprised to see him spend a little time with Erie to help conserve his NBA days. There's no fantasy impact here unless multiple Hawks get hurt.

Alex Poythress (left ankle soreness) is available to play Saturday against the Cavs.

Poythress missed about a month of time with an ankle injury but has been back for three games now. Some soreness is expected, but he could be in for a bigger than normal workload with the Hawks frontcourt dealing with injuries.

Alex Poythres (left ankle soreness) is questionable to face the Cavs on Saturday.

Poythress has been back for three games after missing a month of action because of his left ankle so some soreness is normal. He is averaging only 13.9 minutes per game on the season so there is not much fantasy implication here.

Alex Poythress saw 23 minutes of action with Alex Len (back) out and Dewayne Dedmon dealing with foul trouble on Friday, and he finished with 12 points, five rebounds and two blocks.

Poythress needs injury assistance to be relevant in fantasy leagues but like a lot of young big men if he gets the chance he could be a serviceable asset. To be clear, he's waiver wire fodder.

  • Alex Poythress - F - Atlanta Hawks

Alex Poythress played in his first game since November 17 on Sunday.

Poythress was sidelined by a left ankle contusion, and he played three scoreless minutes. Fantasy owners don't need to watch this play out until the Hawks start shutting guys down.

Alex Poythress (left ankle contusion) is available for Sunday's game.

With Omari Spellman (hip) and John Collins (ankle) both out, Poythress could be in for rotation minutes in this one. He makes for the deepest of desperation DFS plays in a crowded Sunday of games.

Alex Poythress has been transferred to the G-League.

It means he's getting closer to a return after sitting out for 13 games because of a left ankle contusion. The Hawks had previously said that their plan was to send Poythress to the G-League to get some work in before he started playing with the big club again. He offers extremely limited appeal with the Hawks close to full strength at the four, though Taurean Prince's injury gives him a chance to play a little bit at the three. It's still not enough to move the needle.
