The Knicks have waived point guard Amir Hinton on Wednesday.

Hinton was unable to play in either of the Knicks' first two preseason games before being waived. Hinton may end up playing in the G League and is not on the fantasy radar.

The Knicks have ruled Kadeem Allen (strained right foot), Kenny Wooten (sprained left ankle) and Amir Hinton (strained right groin) out of Friday's preseason game.

While Allen had some nice moments at the end of last season, the fantasy impact is minimal. DFS players will at least have a clearer sense of which Knicks to play tonight.

Amir Hinton (strained left groin) and Kenny Wooten (strained left ankle) have been ruled out for Friday's tilt against the Wizards.

Wooten and Hinton are long shots to make the roster and carry no fantasy value heading into drafts.

Kevin Knox did not practice on Wednesday due to a right calf strain.

Knox had a reasonable game on Monday against the Wizards, but the Knicks are playing it safe with his calf. Amir Hinton (groin) and Wayne Ellington (illness) also did not practice.

Amir Hinton (personal reasons) will not play in Monday's preseason game versus the Wizards.

Hinton is a long shot to make the final roster, but has flashed serious scoring potential during his run playing Division II ball. Consider him questionable going forward.

Kadeem Allen (strained right foot) to be held out of practice on Saturday.

No further details have been reported on Allen's injury so we should consider him day-to-day in the meantime. After a strong finish to last season, he is one of the few players to have his two-way contract carried over into a second season. He can remain off the fantasy radar with Dennis Smith, Frank Ntilikina and Elfrid Payton all currently in front of him. Amir Hinton (personal reasons) will also not be at practice today.

The odds are always against a Division II product getting a real look at training camp, but point guard Amir Hinton may have a real chance with the Knicks this year.

Signed to an Exhibit 10 contract, Hinton led all of college basketball in scoring at Division II Shaw University with 29.4 points per game. Though the 22-year-old will likely wind up with the Westchester Knicks with his $50,000 guarantee, the ultimate long shot’s future bears watching. David Fizdale’s mission is to run more this season, and Hinton thrives in transition. It’s no secret the Knicks have signed a slew of guys with one-year deals who could be peddled at the trade deadline for draft picks, opening up roster spots, so Hilton is a name to keep an eye on as the season progresses.

The Knicks have signed Ameer Hinton, Lamar Peters, VJ King and Kenny Wooten to a training camp deals on Tuesday, with Exhibit 10 provisions paying them $50,000 thousand if they remain with the teams G-League affiliate for at least 60 days.

Hinton played on the Knicks Summer League team where he averaged 4.3 points and 1.8 rebound in 8.3 minutes per game. He would seem to have the best odds at latching on among the group. With these four training camp deals, the Knicks now have a full 20 man roster for training camp.
