Andrew Wiggins (illness) is unlikely to play during Saturday's game versus the Cavs.

This gives a big boost to Shabazz Napier, Robert Covington and Jeff Teague as far as usage. All become viable DFS plays, while we could look at Keita Bates-Diop for some value.

Andrew Wiggins made just 4-of-19 shots from the field but still managed to finish Thursday night's 2OT win over the Kings with 18 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and two 3s.

Wiggins' ability to do other things beyond scoring has buoyed his fantasy value this season. He's done enough to warrant a pass for this off shooting night.

Andrew Wiggins led the Wolves in scoring in their 104-111 loss to the Warriors with 22 points on 10-of-27 shooting to go with six boards, two assists, a block and a 3-pointer.

Wiggins took all of the shots with Karl-Anthony Towns sitting this one out and was able to put up enough points to keep owners satisfied.

Sans Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee sprain), Andrew Wiggins bore the brunt of the scoring load on Saturday, tallying 33 points on 13-of-24 shooting with six rebounds, four 3s, one assist and three blocks in 35 minutes.

Wiggins continues to howl as an emergent beast in the fantasy game this season. His ability to add more sauce to the fantasy plate beyond his meat-and-potato scoring game has made him a delectable top-50 star over the course of his long-delayed breakout season.

Andrew Wiggins scored 27 points on 9-of-23 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and two steals in Wednesday's 107-99 loss to the Pelicans.

Wiggins was the go-to scoring option with Karl-Anthony Towns sidelined. His shooting efficiency has been holding him back recently, but he is still a top-50 player on the season.

Andrew Wiggins played through a thumb sprain against the Suns on Monday and scored 23 points on 8-of-18 shooting while adding four rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a 3-pointer.

Wiggins has been a pleasant surprise in fantasy circles this season and the two blocks tonight have actually been the norm for him. He's supplementing his 24.5 points with 3.4 assists, 1.3 blocks and 2.2 3s on .453 shooting which have him nested inside the top-75.

Andrew Wiggins (left thumb sprain) will start on Monday against the Suns.

Wiggins has been looking a bit more like the Wiggins of old recently. The drop in production has at least partly coincided with this injury, so hopefully he picks it up again once he's fully healed.

Andrew Wiggins (left thumb sprain) is considered questionable to face the Warriors on Monday.

Wiggins played 29 minutes on Sunday, but it's uncertain whether he can play two games in two days. At 24.6 points per game, he is on pace for the best scoring average of his career. Keita Bates-Diop could see more action if Wiggins does not suit up.

Despite dealing with a left thumb sprain, Andrew Wiggins is active for the Wolves-Lakers game on Sunday.

Wiggins returns to the floor after a one-game absence. He has not been shooting the best of late, but has been piling up 3-pointers and blocks to help offset that issue. He continues to be a very useful fantasy player this season.

Andrew Wiggins (left thumb sprain) has been listed as questionable for Sunday vs. the Lakers.

Wiggins sat out the last game. If he is able to play, look for him to put up mid-round value for the rest of the season.

  • Karl-Anthony Towns
    C, Minnesota Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns (right knee tendinopathy) and Andrew Wiggins (left thumb sprain) will both be re-evaluated before Friday's game vs. OKC.

KAT was listed as probable coming into this one so he's got a good shot of suiting up. However, Wiggins has drawn the questionable tag so his status is much more up in the air for Friday's game. Stay tuned for updates closer to tip-off.

  • Jaylen Nowell
    PG, Minnesota Timberwolves

The Wolves have recalled Jaylen Nowell, who averaged 19 points with nearly three treys a game for the Iowa Wolves.

The Rookie guard has been impressive in the G-league, and with Andrew Wiggins listed as questionable, this may be an indication that Wiggins will not suit up. Nowell should remain on the wire in all leagues.

Andrew Wiggins is officially questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder as he is dealing with a left thumb sprain.

Wiggins has been one of the biggest surprises of fantasy so far this season and his production has not tailed off. He is currently producing per-game value just outside the top-50 in both 8 and 9 cat leagues.
