Andrew Wiggins will sit out Friday's tilt with the Thunder due to a left thumb sprain.

Hopefully this is a short-term issue for Wiggins as he has been having a special season for the Wolves thus far.

Andrew Wiggins (left thumb sprain) is questionable and will be a true game-time decision for Friday's game against the Thunder.

If Wiggins is out Jeff Teague will be the lead perimeter play maker for the Wolves. Stay tuned.

  • Karl-Anthony Towns
    C, Minnesota Timberwolves

Karl-Anthony Towns (right knee tendinopathy) and Andrew Wiggins (left thumb sprain) will both be re-evaluated before Friday's game vs. OKC.

KAT was listed as probable coming into this one so he's got a good shot of suiting up. However, Wiggins has drawn the questionable tag so his status is much more up in the air for Friday's game. Stay tuned for updates closer to tip-off.

  • Jaylen Nowell
    PG, Minnesota Timberwolves

The Wolves have recalled Jaylen Nowell, who averaged 19 points with nearly three treys a game for the Iowa Wolves.

The Rookie guard has been impressive in the G-league, and with Andrew Wiggins listed as questionable, this may be an indication that Wiggins will not suit up. Nowell should remain on the wire in all leagues.

Andrew Wiggins is officially questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder as he is dealing with a left thumb sprain.

Wiggins has been one of the biggest surprises of fantasy so far this season and his production has not tailed off. He is currently producing per-game value just outside the top-50 in both 8 and 9 cat leagues.

Andrew Wiggins ended Wednesday night's contest with 26 points, five rebounds, one assist and three blocks on 7-of-12 shooting.

Wiggins is telling us that the start of the season was not a flash in the pan. He is poised to return mid-round value, although we'd like a bit better shooting percentages than tonight's performance.

Andrew Wiggins finished with 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds on 6-of-17 shooting during Sunday's loss to the Grizzlies.

Wiggins showcased the assist upside he flashed earlier in the season with Jeff Teague out of the starting lineup. Wiggins has been quite the surprise this season and these sort of stat lines look to be the norm going forward.

Andrew Wiggins hit 7-of-16 shots (3-of-5 3PTs, 9-of-14 FTs) with eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks over 36 minutes in Wednesday's road win over the Spurs.

Hopefully you didn't wig out when Wiggins first started going off as it was pretty clear early he finally took the step forward that everybody wanted. There's no reason to fade him going forward.

Andrew Wiggins continued his resurgence on Monday, netting 25 points on 9-of-19 shooting to go with six rebounds, two steals and three triples.

Wiggins really looks like a brand new player, freed up after the Jimmy Butler era took everyone off the rails for a couple seasons. He might not finish with clear cut middle-round value but top-90 numbers seem like a fair expectation, with enough cushion to leave yourself pleasantly surprised with anything further. This is a big development for the Wolves as an organization.

Andrew Wiggins hit just 9-of-21 shots for 21 points, four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two triples in Saturday's home loss to the Suns.

Wiggins has been dealing with an illness and some time off for personal issues, but other than the somewhat crooked shooting line he looked fine out there. The much-maligned Wiggins is in the midst of a top-50 season in 9-cat formats, with an average of 4.0 money counting stats and 2.2 treys per contest. He has taken a step forward and that's not changing this season.

Andrew Wiggins returned to the lineup on Wednesday to the tune of 22 points on 10-for-24 shooting, seven boards, three assists and a three.

Wiggins was the team's leading scorer and shot reasonably well. He would have had a great night from the field had it not been his 1-of-10 shooting from deep. Currently sitting at top-40 value, Wiggins owners have to be loving the production they are seeing this season.

Andrew Wiggins (illness) will play and start in Wednesday's contest vs. the Jazz.

Wiggins has performed well in the early part of this season before he was forced to miss some games with an illness. It will be worth watching to see how he performs in his first game back. He is currently producing per-game value in the third round. Although this will likely drop with a larger sample size, fantasy owners who drafted Wiggins will be pleased to get him back in their lineups.

Andrew Wiggins (illness) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Jazz.

Wiggins joins Josh Okogie (questionable) and Jake Layman (doubtful) on the injury report in what could be a depleted wing rotation for the Wolves. In the event that all three can't go, Jarrett Culver would see as much time as he can handle.

Andrew Wiggins (illness) will not play in Monday's road game against the Utah Jazz.

Wiggins did not travel with the team to Utah and his next chance to get back on the court will be on Wednesday versus Utah at home. With the uncertainty around his availability he may be difficult to start in weekly formats as the Wolves only have 2 more games this week. Josh Okogie and Jarret Culver will continue to soak up his minutes and Karl-Anthony Towns should continue absorbing a lot of the usage.

Andrew Wiggins (illness) is being considered doubtful for Monday's game versus the Jazz.

Wiggins has missed the past two games due to the death of his grandmother and appears to be dealing with an illness now. Look for Jarrett Culver to see even more minutes if Josh Okogie is unable to suit up as well.
