Anthony Tolliver

  • Anthony Tolliver
    PF, Memphis Grizzlies

Anthony Tolliver, who is a member of the NBA Players Association Executive Committee, shared that the players are seeking to return to action and receive their money as soon as it is feasible.

Tolliver is part of the 12-man Executive Committee, and he has a good pulse on the Player Association's overall perspective as a result. This is another indicator that the players want to make basketball games happen as soon as it is safe to do so. Tolliver noted that the owners are also interested in securing as much money as possible, and with so much at stake, that should incentivize all parties to end the suspension of play.

    PF, Memphis Grizzlies

Anthony Tolliver drained four triples for 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting (all 3-point attempts) in his debut with the Grizzlies on Monday, and he added three rebounds over his 19 minutes.

Tolliver just signed a 10-day contract with Memphis, and with their banged up frontcourt, he could realistically play around 20 minutes per game. Keep in mind that this game was over early, so he did get some garbage time. Though, the Grizzlies are often involved in blowouts lately, so this could repeat itself (aside from the 80 percent from distance) fairly often.

The Grizzlies have signed Anthony Tolliver to a 10-day contract.

Tolliver was recently bought out by the Kings. He has struggled with his shooting from distance this season and is not a recommended add.

  • Anthony Tolliver
    PF, Sacramento Kings

The Kings are working on a contract buyout with Anthony Tolliver, per Shams Charania.

Tolliver has seen limited action since being traded to Sacramento but should be a popular target for contenders as a solid stretch four and renowned locker room presence. Though he won't come into fantasy relevance no matter where he plays, perhaps a change of scenery can get him out of his shooting funk. Tolliver is hitting just 30.8% of his threes, which is the worst he's shot (by nearly three percentage points) since 2012.

  • Anthony Tolliver
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Anthony Tolliver started on Saturday and scored seven points on 3-of-10 shooting with 11 rebounds and one triple in 28 minutes.

Tolliver got the start with Hassan Whiteside sitting out with an illness. Whiteside shouldn't miss too much time and Tolliver will return to being a 3-point streamer in deep leagues when Whiteside returns.

    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Anthony Tolliver picked up 18 minutes on Saturday night, going 4-of-5 from the field (and the 3-point line) to finish with 12 points.

Tolliver has been out of the rotation over the last two games after starting against Minnesota on Saturday, but the injury to Skal Labissiere forced him into duty tonight. The veteran is a 3-point streaming option in deep leagues.

  • Anthony Tolliver
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Anthony Tolliver did little in his start for the Blazers on Saturday, managing zero points (0-for-3 shooting) with two rebounds, one assist and one steal in 22 minutes.

Tolliver can be left on the wire and is not worth a gamble, especially at this stage of his career. He was outplayed by Skal Labissiere, who chipped in 11 points, eight rebounds, two dimes and two blocks on 5-of-9 shooting.

Anthony Tolliver will start for an injured Carmelo Anthony (left knee contusion) on Saturday vs. the Wolves.

Tolliver does not bring enough juice to the table to make for a revenge-game scenario vs. a former team. He's a low-end option in very deep leagues considering Melo is not expected to be out for long.

  • Carmelo Anthony
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Carmelo Anthony (left knee contusion) has been ruled out of Saturday's game versus the Blazers.

Anthony doesn't believe the injury to be serious and in his absence Anthony Tolliver will most likely start. Nassir Little missed the last game with back spasms, but he would also see a few extra minutes with Anthony out.

Anthony Tolliver didn't leave the bench on Monday night.

Tolliver went from starter to DNP-CD with Hassan Whiteside back. Moses Brown got the garbage time run. No fantasy impact here.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside has been downgraded to out for Thursday's contest vs. the Bucks.

The Blazers will be in desperate need of frontcourt help with Whiteside, Zach Collins and Jusuf Nurkić all ruled out. Nassir Little, Skal Labissiere, Anthony Tolliver, Mario Hezonja and Carmelo Anthony could all see extra minutes as a result while Little is most likely their best defensive big left. Giannis Antetokounmpo and Brook Lopez could have great fantasy lines against this frontcourt.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside (right hip) was not able to practice and is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Bucks.

Whiteside has been the only healthy center for the Blazers who are without Zach Collins and Jusuf Nurkic. The team is already razor-thin in their frontcourt and are 5-10. If he is forced to miss this contest, Anthony Tolliver, Nassir Little, and Skal Labissiere could see the extra run. The Blazers also recalled Moses Brown and Jaylen Hoard from the G League.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside (right hip) is listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's matchup against the Bucks.

Whiteside has been the only healthy center for the Blazers after they saw youngster Zach Collins undergo shoulder surgery. He will continue to pile up points and rebounds as long as he is healthy and his percentages have improved season over season. If he is forced to miss this contest, Anthony Tolliver, Nassir Little and Skal Labissiere could see extra run.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Hawks.

An injury designation has yet to be given to Whiteside, but Skal Labissiere is also being considered questionable and the Blazers could be thin in their frontcourt. Anthony Tolliver could be in store for some decent run if Labissiere and Whiteside were to miss the game.

  • Anfernee Simons
    SG, Portland Trail Blazers

Anfernee Simons closed out Thursday's game against the Clippers with 17 points on 5-of-13 shooting to go with two rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers.

Simons scored all but one of his points in the final period of action and the Blazers have been hyping him up since the preseason. He's talented and adept at scoring, but the issue is that he plays the same position as C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard. Coach Stotts rode the hot hand with Simons to end the game over Kent Bazemore and Anthony Tolliver (four points with two rebounds, an assist, a block and a 3-pointer in 21 minutes) and we wouldn't be surprised if he broke into standard-league value at some point this year. He's still a watch-list guy as tonight he had the hot hand.
