The Wizards have signed center Anzejs Pasecniks to an Exhibit 10 deal.

It's likely that Pasecniks will end up in the G League. However, with Ian Mahinmi injured it makes sense for the Wizards to add some depth.

Anzejz Pasecniks will join the Wizards for Summer League once the Sixers renounce his rights.

Pasecniks picks an interesting landing spot, as the former first-rounder will look to impress a team that has only Thomas Bryant, Dwight Howard and Ian Mahinmi in the mix at center. Howard and Mahinmi are not long-term considerations at all, so it's possible that Pasecniks can show the organization that he's worth developing.

Anzejs Pasecniks' rights were renounced by the Sixers on Monday.

Pasecniks was drafted 25th in 2017 and once showed lots of potential. Amick says he's interested in coming over from the top Spanish league to play next season, so the Sixers renounced his rights knowing that his cost would be prohibitive for their books. Depending on the landing spot, Pasecniks could be worth a flier based on what we hear leading up to the season.
