Boban Marjanovic

Fantasy News

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic dominated the Nuggets in a start on Wednesday, scoring 31 points on 12-of-20 shooting with 17 rebounds in 31 minutes.

He also shot 7-of-8 from the line and added two steals. Marjanovic balled out tonight in a spot start for Kristaps Porzingis (rest).

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic scored 14 points on 7-of-11 shooting to go with 12 rebounds, a steal and a block in 22 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Marjanovic saw extended time tonight off the bench due to Kristaps Porzingis (knee recovery) taking this night off. He's a streamer with little value outside of deep leagues.

  • Willie Cauley-Stein
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Willie Cauley-Stein (personal) will not be with the Mavs on Saturday when they take on the Hawks.

Cauley-Stein picked up a DNP-CD on Friday and played only 4.3 minutes per game in the prior two contests so he can be left on waivers. With Kristaps Porzingis also unavailable on Saturday, Maxi Kleber and Boban Marjanovic will hold down the center position.

  • Kristaps Porzingis
    PF-C, Dallas Mavericks

Kristaps Porzingis (knee injury recovery) will not play against the Hawks on Saturday.

Porzingis posted a ridiculous 24-point, 10-rebound, 5-assist, 5-block, 4-triple line on Friday and will be rested on the second game in the back-to-back. Maxi Kleber, who posted a season-high 26 points in 23 minutes on Friday should slide into the starting lineup with Boban Marjanovic picking up the backup minutes after getting a DNP-CD on Friday as Willie Cauley-Stein (personal) is unable.

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic is inactive for Friday's game versus the Magic.

Marjanovic has been barely getting minutes lately so it is not surprising that he got hit with the inactive tag. Kristaps Porzingis, Maxi Kleber and Willie Cauley-Stein are getting the center minutes for the time being, and it is a longshot that we see any more crazy runs to grab Marjanovic off the wire after he has a monster game this season. The rotation is too crowded in Dallas.

  • Kristaps Porzingis
    PF-C, Dallas Mavericks

Kristaps Porzingis (injury recovery, left knee) will not play against the Hornets on Saturday.

This is the second game of a back-to-back so this was to be expected. Porzingis has been putting up elite fantasy numbers filling in as the primary scorer with Doncic out but the Mavs will have to rely on Maxi Kleber, Willie Cauley-Stein and Dorian Finney-Smith to hold down the frontcourt for this one with Boban Marjanovic likely to also get some minutes.

  • Kristaps Porzingis
    PF-C, Dallas Mavericks

Kristaps Porzingis (injury recovery, left knee) will not play against the Hawks on Saturday.

This is the second game of a back-to-back so the Mavs have decided to game Porzingis night off after he played a team-high 36 minutes in Friday's loss to Houston in which he had a season-high 35 points and 12 rebounds. Maxi Kleber should be the biggiest beneficiary on Saturday while Boban Marjanovic and Willie Cauley-Stein will scrap for the backup center minutes.

  • Willie Cauley-Stein
    C, Golden State Warriors

The Willie Cauley-Stein trade is now official as announced by both teams involved.

The Mavs get Cauley-Stein to fill the void of Dwight Powell's season ending injury while the Warriors have received Utah's 2020 second round pick. Dallas has also requested waivers on Justin Patton to create a roster spot for WCS. Stein was a top-100 player in 22.9 minutes on the Warriors and you would expect for him to get similar minutes on the Mavs so he is a hold. Maxi Kleber and Boban Marjanovic lose some value while Marquesse Chriss and Omari Spellman gain some.

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic was extremely efficient (5-for6 FGs, 2-for-2 FTs) on Tuesday, producing 12 points, seven rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 16 minutes vs. the Clippers.

With Dwight Powell likely lost for the season, Marjanovic should see a few extra minutes. And that's really all he needs to provide decent fantasy value. However, even with Kristaps Porzingis out for the past ten games, Boban played in just six. Keep in mind that he's unlikely to play in nearly every game even if his minutes get bumped into the 15-minute range.

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic double-doubled for the second time in three games on Tuesday with 13 points (6-for-14 FGs) and 11 rebounds in 20 minutes vs. the Warriors.

Don't do it. You want to pick Boban up because he's so much fun and can pile up stats at an incredible rate. But unless you're in a very deep league, he's just going to hurt you unless you stream him for the right game. This was the second-highest minute total for Marjanovic this season, too.

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic headed to the locker room on Saturday with a right knee injury.

Boban had nine points in seven minutes before leaving the game. Boban is barely in the rotation most nights and there is little fantasy impact if he misses time.

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic registered 14 points (5-for-9 shooting) and 10 rebounds in Friday's loss to the Lakers.

Marjanovic and Seth Curry (16 points, three triples, two assists and a steal) where the only two players to score in double figures off the Mavs bench. With Kristaps Porzingis injured and the supersized Lakers in town, Marjanovic needed only 10 minutes to notch the double-double.

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

With Kristaps Porzingis sitting Thursday night's game, there was enough for the Mavs' bigs to eat and Boban Marjanovic got a taste of 13 minutes on the floor, producing 10 points and seven rebounds.

Porzingis is expected back next week, so Boban could be a low-end streaming option in deep leagues for a couple of games. Other than that, his season-long outlook isn't as big as he is in real-life. Sadly.

  • Boban Marjanovic
    C, Dallas Mavericks

Boban Marjanovic posted 15 points and 16 rebounds on 6-of-7 shooting from the field.

Boban benefited from the blowout in a big way, but struggles to see regular minutes when the Mavs are healthy.
