  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Shams Charania of the Athletic is reporting that the Hawks and two-way guard Brandon Goodwin have agreed to a two-year NBA contract.

Goodwin has played well recently and it’s good to see the Hawks rewarding him. He is still only an option in deeper leagues as long as Trae Young remains healthy.

  • Cam Reddish
    G-F, Atlanta Hawks

Cam Reddish (concussion) is being listed as doubtful for Sunday's game versus the Knicks.

Jeff Teague and Brandon Goodwin will handle most of the point guard duties if both Reddish and Trae Young are forced to sit out another game, while De'Andre Hunter sees additional run in Reddish's absence.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Brandon Goodwin played a season-high 28 minutes and matched a career-high with 21 points in Friday's road defeat at the hands of the Celtics.

Goodwin also added four assists, two rebounds and a block. He's been a nice surprise off the bench for the Hawks lately and is a consideration in deeper leagues.

  • Cam Reddish
    G-F, Atlanta Hawks

Cam Reddish will not play on Monday due to a blow to the head he received during Saturday's game which resulted in a nose contusion and possible concussion.

The Hawks could have used Reddish with De'Andre Hunter also injured. Brandon Goodwin and Vince Carter should be in the mix for bench minutes.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Brandon Goodwin logged 24 minutes off the Hawks' bench on Saturday and was reasonably productive with 11 points (4-of-11 shooting), seven rebounds, five assists and one 3-pointer.

The 4-of-11 shooting was not much to cheer about, but Trae Young left this game with a right ankle sprain, so Goodwin is a worthwhile pickup in deeper leagues in the even that Young is forced on the sidelines with this latest injury.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Brandon Goodwin came off the bench on Wednesday to score 19 points on 6-of-14 shooting with three assists, three rebounds and three triples in 20 minutes.

Goodwin was scoreless in two minutes on Monday and got a boost on Wednesday with Trae Young (right thigh contusion) out. Goodwin can be left on the waiver wire with Young set to return soon.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Brandon Goodwin drew the start for Trae Young on Sunday and was able to cook up eight points (3-for-12 FG), four rebounds, three assists, two steals and a 3-pointer.

Nothing too special there, and anyone who rolled the dice in DFS didn't get exactly what they were hoping for. He's on the deep-league radar for as long as Young is injured, though Kevin Huerter (8-5-5 on 3-for-11 shooting) is the preferred play of Atlanta's non-Young backcourt guys. He should be rostered in all leagues.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Brandon Goodwin is expected to start in place of Trae Young during Sunday's game versus the Nets.

Goodwins role has been expanding at the expense of DeAndre' Bembry. He's a solid value option for DFS, but won't hold any long-term value unless Young's injure proves to be more serious.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Brian Goodwin scored 14 (6-for-13 shooting) points off the bench on Friday, adding two triples and an assist.

It was a rare productive night for Goodwin who doesn't usually play enough minutes to warrant attention. Kevin Huerter dealt with foul trouble which is the likely explanation for the uptick in minutes (25). You can leave Goodwin on waivers with the exception of the occasional spot stream.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

Brandon Goodwin took full advantage of the absence of Trae Young (right ankle sprain) on Monday and erupted for a career-high 21 points on 7-of-11 shooting.

We expected to see a bit more of Goodwin in Young's absence, but definitely not THIS much. It was a stellar game overall as he also chipped in three 3s, three rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block. This is still a grain-of-salt line (no Trae) and Goodwin is on a two-way deal, so he's a marginal stream candidate at best right now.

  • Brandon Goodwin
    PG, Atlanta Hawks

The Hawks announced this morning that they have transferred Brandon Goodwin to the College Park Skyhawks of the G League.

Goodwin is on a two-way contract and he hasn’t been able to make a case for more minutes so far.

  • Charlie Brown Jr.
    PF, Atlanta Hawks

Charlie Brown Jr. has been called up to the big league club ahead of Wednesday's game against the Bulls.

Neither of these players have fantasy relevance at this time but it is good to see NBA organizations take advantage of their minor league teams in a way similar to that of the MLB. Obviously, on a much smaller scale.

The Hawks announced this morning that they have transferred Brandon Goodwin to the College Park Skyhawks of the G League.

With Trae Young healthy there is no need for Goodwin anymore as he is simply an insurance policy in the point guard position.

  • John Collins
    PF, Atlanta Hawks

John Collins (left knee) and Brandon Goodwin (right hip contusion) will be available for Wednesday's exhibition game vs. the Magic.

It is encouraging to see Collins play in both of the Hawks' first two preseason games. All signs are pointing to him being ready to go at the start of the season. He is being targeted in drafts as early as the 3rd round. Goodwin will have to show something in order to enter the fantasy landscape.

Brandon Goodwin has been upgraded to probable for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

Goodwin had previously been labeled questionable due to a right hip contusion. Goodwin is not high on the guard depth chart for the Hawks.
