Fantasy News

  • John Collins
    PF, Atlanta Hawks

John Collins (left knee) and Brandon Goodwin (right hip contusion) will be available for Wednesday's exhibition game vs. the Magic.

It is encouraging to see Collins play in both of the Hawks' first two preseason games. All signs are pointing to him being ready to go at the start of the season. He is being targeted in drafts as early as the 3rd round. Goodwin will have to show something in order to enter the fantasy landscape.

Brandon Goodwin (right hip contusion) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Magic.

Goodwin is trying to find his way into some backup minutes and will need to get on the court for that to happen. He is not on the fantasy radar.

Brandon Goodwin (right hip contusion) is being listed as questionable for Monday's preseason game versus the Pelicans.

The Hawks have signed Brandon Goodwin to a 2-way contract.

Goodwin played in 16 games in his first season with the Nuggets and had a very impressive Summer League showing in July. He will be joining a very youthful roster in Atlanta. Goodwin is off the radar from a fantasy perspective.

    PG, Denver Nuggets

Brandon Goodwin scored 22 points in Saturday's loss to the Rockets adding six assists, one rebound and a steal.

Goodwin continues his streak of impressive outings at the helm of the Nuggets backcourt. He got the job done by not only scoring from all over the court but also facilitating ball movement. It is nice to have options and the Nuggets have plenty behind starter Jamal Murray.

    PG, Denver Nuggets

Brandon Goodwin lit it up in Summer League play on Tuesday, going for 28 points (10-of-18 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), four treys, four dimes and a steal in 27 minutes.

Goodwin had quite a game. For the loaded Nuggets squad though, that's really just a reminder that they have a nice option for a third-string point guard in him.

    PG, Denver Nuggets

Brandon Goodwin recorded seven dimes along with 16 points (5-of-11 shooting), three boards, one three and one steal on Sunday vs. the Magic in Summer League.

Goodwin's line was solid but was soured slightly by his going 5-for-9 from the free throw line. He's a promising point guard but the Nuggets have a lot of talent at that position so don't expect him to make a splash in 2019-20 even if he makes their regular season rotation.

    G, Denver Nuggets

The Nuggets are signing Brandon Goodwin from the G-league with an injury hardship relief exception and he will be with the team for Friday's game.

Goodwin is just extra guard depth and is not on any fantasy radar.

    G, Memphis Grizzlies

The Grizzlies have reached a training camp deal with guard Brandon Goodwin.

Goodwin averaged 10.5 points and 3.4 assists across 10 Summer League games with the Grizz, and his .414 mark from deep definitely helped his case. Memphis has a ton of guards already so he's not likely to make it through final cuts.
