Bryn Forbes scored 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting (3-for-6 from deep) in Sunday's 114-123 loss to the Pelicans.

Forbes appears to be battling for a starting job after doing admirable work last season. It's going to come down to two of Forbes, Dejounte Murray and Derrick White, with White coming off the bench today. Forbes' fantasy game isn't all that exciting but he should be able to sail into top-200 value without a fuss, if that floats your boat.

Bryn Forbes was a sight for sore eyes on Saturday as he delivered a game-high 24 points on 9-of-13 shooting (five 3s), one rebound and two assists.

Forbes had the hot hand and the Spurs just let him play his heart out for 23 minutes. He started over Derrick White, who put up three points, six dimes, two steals and one block in 17 minutes off the bench. Forbes' start could just be the coaching staff wanting to take a look and we still expect White to get the starting nod on opening night. Still, Forbes' performance tonight must have earned him some brownie points towards more rotational minutes once the season is officially underway.

Bryn Forbes shot 7-of-11 from the field to put up 19 points, three triples and six rebounds in Saturday's Game 7 loss to the Nuggets.

Forbes scored 17 of his points in the second half, where San Antonio cut a 17-point deficit all the way down to two before Jamal Murray hit the eventual dagger. The third-year guard emerged as a capable starter for San Antonio, though it's not surprising that they lost on a night where he tied for second-most points.

Bryn Forbes finished the game with 10 points, four rebounds, one assist, one block and two triples on 3-of-6 shooting in 28 minutes in Saturday night's loss to the Nuggets.

Despite the efficient night, Forbes wasn't able to affect the game as much as he wanted to as the Nuggets stole one on the Spurs' home court. The Spurs need his consistent shooting from three if they are looking to upset Denver in their first-round matchup.

When asked if he was nervous about his first playoff start, Bryn Forbes said, "I was excited more than anything … one of the funnest games of the year for me."

Forbes sure didn't look fazed as he poured in 15 points on 3-of-4 shooting from deep in Sunday's Game 1 road victory. Forbes will look to keep up the hot shooting in Game 2 on Tuesday, as he continues to pitch in on the offensive end behind LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan.

Bryn Forbes finished tonight's game with 10 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and three triples on 3-of-8 shooting in 26 minutes in Wednesday night's win over the Mavericks.

Forbes had a pretty good year this season and was actually a good addition to the Spurs. He played the most minutes of his entire three year career with 28.0 per game this season. Forbes was a top-170 player in 9-cat leagues and a top-180 guy in 8-cat leagues and he shouldn't be anything more than a deep-league guy coming into next season.

Bryn Forbes notched 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting on Thursday, rounding out his line with six rebounds, four assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Forbes' production is usually very one-dimensional (2.3 threes per game in the last two weeks) but if you were using him as a stream or a specialist you got a nice surprise tonight. Don't expect many lines like this, but it's nice to know that Forbes has it deep in the bag.

  • Derrick White
    G, San Antonio Spurs

Derrick White scored 18 points and added a trey, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and a turnover in Friday’s loss to the Rockets.

White wasn’t great but considering the the lackluster play he’s had of late (top-140 over his last seven games), owners will take it. Fellow starter Bryn Forbes got hot, hitting 8-of-10 from the field to finish with 20 points and three 3s but he’s only a middling target for 14-deep.

Bryn Forbes (right calf contusion) is probable for Monday's game against the Nuggets.

Forbes played through the injury on Saturday and scored 16 points in 26 minutes, so we're not worried about his status. If you'd usually have him in your lineups, you should be good calling on Forbes tomorrow.

Bryn Forbes looked good in Saturday's win over the Thunder, recording 16 points (6-of-9 shooting) with four rebounds, three treys, an assist and one steal in 26 minutes.

Forbes played well considering he was originally listed as questionable a couple of days ago. The good news here is that his calf contusion doesn't appear to be bothering his production. Feel free to keep him slotted into your active lineups moving forward.

Bryn Forbes (right calf contusion) will play on Saturday against the Thunder.

Forbes can give you 3-pointers, but you have to be able to stomach the lack of production in the other categories.

Bryn Forbes (right calf contusion) is expected to play on Saturday against the Thunder.

Forbes was a full participant at shootaround today after leaving the game early on Wednesday. He has been getting steady minutes all season and could help your team in 3-point shooting with 2.1 per game but his lack of production in other categories makes him difficult to roster in most standard leagues.

Bryn Forbes (right calf contusion) is questionable to play on Saturday vs. the Thunder.

Forbes was forced to leave Wednesday’s game with the calf bruise and if he can’t go, Patty Mills will pick up the slack.

Bryn Forbes was unable to return to Wednesday's game after sustaining a left calf contusion, finishing with six points and two triples in six minutes of action.

Forbes was questionable to come back but never got in the mix. Marco Belinelli logged 35 minutes as a result and chipped in 17 points with three 3-pointers. He's the obvious beneficiary if Forbes has to miss time.
