  • Bryn Forbes
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes is listed as out again on Friday vs. the Jazz due to right quad tightness.

Forbes has yet to suit up for the Spurs in the seeding games. Continue to expect the Spurs to start Derrick White and Dejounte Murray with Patty Mills and Keldon Johnson off the bench.

Bryn Forbes (quad) will miss Wednesday's game against the Nuggets.

Forbes will miss another game and with no indication he is nearing a return, it is safe to roll with guys like Lonnie Walker and Keldon Johnson.

    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes (right quad soreness) will not play on Monday.

At this point it seems safe to deem Forbes out indefinitely, as the Spurs have said nothing about a potential recovery time. Lonnie Walker and Keldon Johnson will continue to see extra run in the interim, with Walker the better play overall and Johnson still more of a deep-league play.

Bryn Forbes (quad) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against the Grizzlies.

Forbes missed the opener against the Kings and is apparently set to miss the Spurs' next game. He had been a regular starter for the Spurs during the initial portion of the regular season, although the playing time typically doesn't result in mouthwatering fantasy production. With Forbes on the sidelines, Derrick White, Dejounte Murray and Lonnie Walker will soak up the bulk of the minutes.

The Spurs will be without Bryn Forbes (sore right quad) for their season re-opener against the Kings on Friday.

Forbes started in all but one game for the Spurs in the abbreviated first portion of the season. This means that there is an open spot in the starting lineup on Friday. The trio of Derrick White, Dejounte Murray and Lonnie Walker started the three scrimmage games and it appears as if they will be the starters alongside Jakob Pöltl and DeMar DeRozan for the resumption season. It is worth monitoring the first game to find out how the minutes and roles will be distributed as this group is entirely different than the group that the Spurs had when the season was suspended.

  • Bryn Forbes
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes was a top-236/226 per game player (8-cat/9-cat) this season, solely on the strength of 11.2 points and 2.3 treys per contest.

Forbes is as one-dimensional of a player as you can find in fantasy. He is a 3-point specialist with a solid scoring rate for deep-league formats but has failed at doing anything else helpful during his 25.1 mpg. He's crucial as a floor spacer for the backward style of play on display in San Antonio, and one figures they will be interested in retaining his services as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

  • Bryn Forbes
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes got hot on Monday and scored 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting to go with four triples.

Forbes knocked down some big triples for the Spurs, but he, like many others on this team, doesn't have much fantasy value outside of being a specialist. He recorded zero stats outside of points and triples.

  • Bryn Forbes
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes drained a career-high eight triples (seven in the first half), resulting in 24 points with one rebound and two assists in 33 minutes as the Spurs beat the Suns on Monday.

Forbes erupts like this every so often, and it's worth remembering for when you need a bunch of threes or points at the end of a week. Aside from that though, Forbes doesn't belong on standard league rosters.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills came off the bench on Wednesday and scored 21 points (8-of-15 FG, 5-of-12 from deep) in 23 minutes.

Mills proves yet again that he can provide that 3-point spark for your team. It's just way to inconsistent of a backfield to rely on him. Fellow backcourt-mate, Derrick White scored 11 points in 22 minutes. While Bryn Forbes, who started, scored 11 in 26 minutes. It's a rotating door and hard to trust any one of them in standard leagues.

  • Bryn Forbes
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes scored 21 points (7-for-12 shooting), four triples and two rbounds in Friday's loss to the Grizzlies.

Forbes is a 3-point streamer that lived up to his reputation on Friday night, draining four of eight three-point shot attempts. As is typically the case with Forbes, the rest of his line left much to be desired. He's great when his shot is falling and pretty useless when it isn't.

  • Bryn Forbes
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes started for the Spurs and looked as he contributed 15 points on 5-of-10 shooting, including four triples with three rebounds, six assists and two steals on Wednesday.

Forbes is a low-end 3-point shooting specialist on most nights, mostly good as a streamer outside of 18-team leagues or deeper.

  • Lonnie Walker IV
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Lonnie Walker IV had his first career start and responded by scoring just eight points (3-of-12)in 26 minutes of action, losing to the Bucks on Saturday.

Walker IV got the start with teammate Bryn Forbes correspondingly moving to the bench. He did everything he could to try to keep himself in the starting line-up but failed to find the mark from the field, converting just 3-of-12. Walker IV should be left on the waiver wire in all but the deepest of leagues.

  • Derrick White
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Getting the starting nod, Derrick White scores nine points in Saturday's loss to Bucks, chipping in four rebounds, two assists and a steal.

Filling in for teammate Dejounte Murray, White got the start and played 24 minutes in this one, ceding playing time to Patty Mills and Bryn Forbes. The backcourt situation is a big mess and owners are best set to leave any San Antonio guard not named DeMar DeRozan on the waiver wire.

  • Patty Mills
    PG, San Antonio Spurs

Patty Mills had a big game with 18 points on 6-of-14 shooting, four rebounds, four assists, a steal and five triples in 33 minutes in an overtime victory on Tuesday.

Mills might be the best 3-point streamer in the league this season. He's definitely boom or bust, but if you need a bunch of threes quick, note that he's now hit five or more five times this season. Right behind him is Bryn Forbes, who hit four triples tonight as part of a 14-point, three-rebound, one-assist performance.

  • Bryn Forbes
    SG, San Antonio Spurs

Bryn Forbes went 6-of-8 from the field on Saturday, netting himself 18 points to go with three rebounds, three assists, three 3-pointers and a steal.

Forbes has felt the squeeze with San Antonio's deep group of guards and despite the explosion he's only a back-end option if you need threes in 16-team leagues.
