  • Harry Giles III
    PF, Sacramento Kings

The Kings did not pick up the fourth-year options on Harry Giles and Caleb Swanigan.

The former 20th overall pick in the 2017 draft oozed potential but was never able to put it together as his career has been derailed by knee injuries. Giles missed his entire rookie season, played in 58 games last year and has failed to play so far this season. He should not be owned in any fantasy leagues at this time but hopefully he can get his body right at some point but he will have to prove that he belongs on a roster as he will now become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Swanigan was not on the fantasy radar but will now enter the 2020 offseason as an unrestricted free agent. It is worth noting that the 2020 free agency class lacks top-level talent.

Caleb Swanigan (right quad contusion) will be available for Monday's Summer League game.

Swanigan has been sidelined since July 3. He's got a minuscule chance at seeing minutes with the Kings this season, so fantasy owners don't have a ton to look for here.

Caleb Swanigan (quad contusion) will miss Wednesday's Cal Classic finale.

Swanigan has not been overly impressive in the first two games of Summer League, and he's a longshot to play for the Kings given their depth up front.

    F, Sacramento Kings

Caleb Swanigan made his Kings debut, playing five minutes and grabbing two rebounds on Tuesday night.

The biggest impact he made was in the form of a knee that got Austin Rivers pretty good. Don't expect Swanigan to make a fantasy impact in the remaining games.

Caleb Swanigan has been traded to the Kings.

Swanigan generated some buzz as a rookie thanks to a huge Summer League but that never translated into production at the NBA level. His high motor game should earn him a consistent role eventually, but he'll be firmly behind Marvin Bagley and Harry Giles in the pecking order moving forward — and that's assuming both Willie Cauley-Stein and Kosta Koufos are out of the picture.

Caleb Swanigan (right knee) is questionable to play on Friday.

Swanigan was just recalled from the G-League but isn't in the rotation consistently enough to make a dent in even the deepest of fantasy leagues. He's also dealt with right knee soreness earlier in the season so hopefully this isn't a sign of something more serious.

Caleb Swanigan (right knee soreness) is listed as probable for Friday's game.

Injury or otherwise, Swanigan is not a regular member of the rotation in fantasy leagues and should not be owned anywhere.

    F, Portland Trail Blazers

Caleb Swanigan, who missed Sunday's game for personal reasons, was back with the Blazers at Tuesday's practice.

Swanigan is at the bottom of the big man pecking order in Portland, so he's not someone to monitor in fantasy leagues. We're glad that he's back and hope that everything is okay with him.

Caleb Swanigan (personal) will not play on Sunday.

Swanigan is behind Zach Collins and Meyers Leonard in the rotation up front so there's no need to own him in any fantasy leagues.

  • Meyers Leonard
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Meyers Leonard scored a team-high 16 points on 5-of-6 shooting in Saturday's loss to the Raptors.

Leonard hit three triples, one as part of an and-one. He's battling for a rotation spot this year and might actually get one with Portland so thin up front. His main competition tonight was nothing special — Caleb Swanigan picked up five points, eight boards and a block in 14 minutes while Zach Collins went 2-for-8 for four points and six rebounds in 19 minutes. Collins also got bullied by Greg Monroe a handful of times. If Jusuf Nurkic ever goes down the Blazers would be in some trouble.

  • Caleb Swanigan
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Caleb Swanigan scored 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting with a 3-pointer, 15 rebounds, two assists and a block against the Grizzlies on Monday.

One thing remains constant about Swanigan's Summer League play and that's his ability to rebound. Tonight he was able to shoot efficiently from the floor, something that he wasn't able to do last game and he even knocked down a triple for good measure.

  • Caleb Swanigan
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Caleb Swanigan scored one point on 0-for-4 shooting with nine rebounds against the Celtics on Sunday.

Swanigan still has a lot of work to do before he becomes a major impact player for the Blazers, but he has the lower body strength and timing to gobble up rebounds. He's a solid defensive rebounder and should be able to get some backup minutes this season with Ed Davis gone.
