Chandler Hutchison suffered a left hamstring strain while working out on Wednesday and will be re-evaluated regularly, as he progresses through his rehabilitation.

A tough break for Hutchison after his rookie season was cut short due to injury. He is expected to fight for backup minutes behind Otto Porter assuming this injury doesn't linger.

Chandler Hutchison scored 13 points in Saturday's loss to the Magic, adding 10 rebounds, three rebounds and a steal.

Another solid outing for Hutchison in Summer League play. He has done a good job solidifying his roster spot for the regular season and will be stuck in a log jam backing up Otto Porter Jr. in a crowded Chicago frontcourt.

Chandler Hutchison scored 18 points in Wednesday's 75-72 win over the Hornets, adding nine rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Hutchison shot 5-of-17 from the field but it's good to see him back healthy after a right foot sesamoid bone injury ended his rookie campaign after 44 games. The Bulls' acquisitions of Otto Porter and Thad Young figure to cramp the forward spots, however, which means Hutchison is unlikely to hold worthwhile fantasy value, even on a rebuilding team.

Chandler Hutchison will suit up on Monday against the Pelicans after sitting out Sunday's game against the Cavs.

The news came from the Bulls' Summer League head coach Nate Loenser. Hutchison played in the first game of the Summer League and scored 15 points. He will likely be rested throughout the remaining games as he has a secured spot on the Bulls' roster.

Chandler Hutchison played in 44 games in his rookie season, starting 14 of them, after suffering a sesamoid bone injury in his right foot in January that cut his season short.

Leading up to his injury, Hutchison had shown some flashes of why he was a first-round pick last June. He projects as a long, 3-and-D wing that will have trouble finding enough minutes to provide any fantasy value with the Bulls' mid-season acquisition of Otto Porter Jr. He only finished this season right around top-350 value in both 8 and 9-cat.

Chandler Hutchison (right foot sesamoid bone injury) will not play again this season.

Hutchison was hopeful to return before the end of the year and was able to go through some light, non-contact practice sessions, but the Bulls will make the smart decision and let the rookie heal fully for next season.

Chandler Hutchison (right foot sesamoid bone injury) remains without a timetable to return but was able to go through 10 minutes of non-contact practice on Tuesday.

That might not sound like much but it does point to Hutchison returning to the court before the season ends. There's no fantasy implications from that with Otto Porter now on the Bulls, however.

Chandler Hutchison (right foot sesamoid bone injury) increased his on-court acticity on Wednesday.

Hutchison, who still has no timetable to return, is doing sprints on the court Wednessday ahead of the game against the Grizzlies. Hutchison remains upbeat, and a return is looking more and more likely with this continued progression. WIth Otto Porter in town now, Hutchison will be fighting for reserve minutes upon his return.

Chandler Hutchison (right foot sesamoid bone injury) has no timetable for his return but was able to get shots up for the first time since sustaining his injury on Monday, and the Bulls are optimistic that he can return this season.

Hutchison first got hurt on January 23 but played through the injury on January 25 before being placed in a walking boot. He was starting for the Bulls before going down, though he was only a top-330 player. With Otto Porter now in Chicago, Hutchison is clearly second on the depth chart even when healthy and can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.

Chandler Hutchison (right foot sesamoid bone injury) will be placed in a walking boot for two-to-four weeks and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.

Hutchison suffered the injury in the game against the Hawks on January 23rd. Despite it, he played, and recorded his first career double-double, on January 25th against the Clippers. In his absence, Wayne Selden, Shaq Harrison, Ryan Arcidiacono and Jabari Parker will all be competing for additional minutes.

Chandler Hutchison (right toe) underwent an MRI on Saturday and there is concern that he could be looking at a long-term absence.

Another update is sure to come but Hutchison will almost certainly not play Sunday against the Cavs. Wayne Selden, Shaquille Harrison and Ryan Arcidiacono will be competing for the opening of minutes. Jabari Parker could see a boost as well until the Bulls figure out how to get rid of him.

Chandler Hutchinson played well in Friday's loss to the Clippers, recording his first career double-double with 12 points on 5-of-15 shooting, adding 12 rebounds, two dimes, one 3-pointer and one steal in a team-high 41 minutes.

The rookie is locked in the Bulls' rotation as part of their developmental focus this season and is someone to watch for a post-All-Star breakout run.

Chandler Hutchison logged 32 minutes in Monday's matinee, finishing with eight points, nine rebounds, a block and a 3-pointer against the Cavs.

Hutchison took only three shots on the day. The playing time at least gives him a floor to work with in extremely deep leagues but the usage is far from inspiring. He's at 28 mpg over the last five and is pretty much the last small forward on the roster, so even if the numbers aren't great Hutch isn't being pushed for minutes.

Chandler Hutchison scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with five rebounds and two steals over 27 minutes in Tuesday's loss to the Lakers.

Hutchison has not been good but in deeper formats you might want to give him a look and see where this goes. The Bulls have practically nobody to play his position.
