  • Charlie Brown Jr.
    PF, Atlanta Hawks

Charlie Brown Jr. has been called up to the big league club ahead of Wednesday's game against the Bulls.

Neither of these players have fantasy relevance at this time but it is good to see NBA organizations take advantage of their minor league teams in a way similar to that of the MLB. Obviously, on a much smaller scale.

    F, Atlanta Hawks

Tahjere McCall (sore ankle) and Charlie Brown (sore hip) have been ruled out of Sunday's Summer League game.

Neither injury is expected to be serious, and there's no harm in giving the players an extra day off in the packed Summer League schedule.

The Hawks have signed St. Joseph forward Charlie Brown to a two-way contract.

After missing the entire 2017-18 season with a fractured wrist, Brown put up a strong season last year with 19.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.1 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.0 triples. The potential 3-and-D wing will have a maximum of 45 days with the NBA club with the remainder spent in the G-League with the current contract. He should see some opportunities with the Hawks looking like a lottery-bound team for at least another season.
