Chris Bosh says that his NBA comeback attempts are over.

There's no way anyone would've cleared Bosh to play given his blood clot issues but that didn't stop him from trying to get his way back in the league over the last couple of seasons. It's a disappointing end to an incredibly career, and Bosh — one of the first bigs to embrace the need to space the floor — would've been dynamite in this era. The Heat are retiring his jersey on March 26. We'd expect the Raptors to honor him at some point in the future as well.

    F, Miami Heat

During the Knicks broadcast, Chris Bosh sat down to talk to courtside reporter Rebecca Haarlow and highlighted that he's yet to announce his retirement.

Bosh has been out of the league for a couple of years now due to blood clot issues. It sounds like Bosh is still open to getting back out there but its really a question of if any team would risk putting a guy on the court who could have a traumatic event during a game.

    C/F, Miami Heat

Sean Deveney of the Sporting News is speculating that Chris Bosh is a name to watch in terms of potential Lakers additions.

Now that LeBron James has signed on, they could fill out their roster with low-cost veterans. Bosh and Bron are still good friends from their Miami days and CB still thinks he has a lot left to give on the court despite being sidelined for over a year with blood clotting issues. While Bosh has been lobbying for a return, it'd be a stunner if any team cleared him given the severity of the issue. It's a fun thought, as Bosh's game was a few years ahead of its time, but take this with a heavy grain of salt for the time being. He's talked about comebacks before with nothing to show for it so far.
