Chris Boucher

  • Chris Boucher
    F, Toronto Raptors

Chris Boucher delivered a team-high 18 points in Sunday's loss to go with eight rebounds and four blocks in 23 minutes of action off the bench.

The Raptors trailed early until a personal 10-0 run from Boucher got them back into the mix. They were undone by a dreadful 21-4 third quarter that ended their stay in Vegas. Boucher has shown strong rim-protection instincts in his short time with the Raptors and has a frame and skillset that Toronto's player development group might be eyeing very closely. It wouldn't be surprising to see the Raptors offer him a deal of some sort in the near future, though other teams were surely paying attention to his performance.

The Warriors have waived Chris Boucher.

The Canadian took up a two-way spot last year but wasn't really ready to contribute at the NBA level. The Warriors are prioritizing players who can jump right in and play with their pair of two-way slots, so Boucher will try to latch on with another organization.

  • Omri Casspi
    SF, Golden State Warriors

Omri Casspi and Chris Boucher are both questionable against the Bucks with ankle injuries.

With the impending return of Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, this likely erases any chance Casspi or Boucher had to provide anything meaningful on the fantasy side. They haven't been on the court anyway so this just puts nails in their respective coffins.

    PF, Golden State Warriors

Chris Boucher made his NBA debut and logged one minute for the Warriors in Wednesday’s win.

Boucher becomes the 14th Canadian to suit up in the Association this year. He wasn’t expected to play much but the Dubs threw him out there with the game out of reach. Don’t expect anything for fantasy purposes.

    PF, Golden State Warriors

Chris Boucher will be available for the Warriors for Wednesday’s game but is unlikely to see the floor.

This is as expected, Boucher is yet to see NBA minutes and it would take a pretty sizable number of injuries for that to change right now.
