Cody Zeller could be in for some load management this season, especially during back-to-back sets.

This is something that shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Zeller has had a history of various injuries in recent seasons that has kept him off the floor for many games. With the Hornets having nothing to play for this season, expect Zeller to miss the odd game here and there. He's still worth targetting late in drafts as a backup big for his roto-frienly stat set.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) will not play in Wednesday's regular-season finale.

Zeller will end the season with just 49 games played, and he hasn't topped 62 games in any of the last three seasons. Left knee soreness forced him to miss the final 16 games of the regular season, and he sat for 16 consecutive games beginning in January after fracturing his right hand. Zeller proved to be a quality, low-end big man when healthy, posting top-110/100 per-game value in 8/9-cat. The health problems kept him to top-180 total value, but he will remain a solid target late in drafts if the Hornets don't address their center position this summer.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) will miss Tuesday's game against the Cavs.

Zeller's condition hasn't even been updated by the Hornets, so he's a longshot to return for Wednesday's game or even the first round of the playoffs should the chips fall Charlotte's way. Bismack Biyombo and Frank Kaminsky will continue to split the center minutes, with Willy Hernangomez popping in for a nice night every few games.

Cody Zeller remains out on Sunday against the Pistons.

Zeller (left knee soreness) has missed the last 13 games and although the Hornets haven't officially shut him down yet, it is highly unlikely he plays again this season. Frank Kaminsky got most of the center minutes last game with WIlly Hernangomez and Bismack Biyombo only playing three minutes each. Kaminsky is hot right now with 21.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.5 triples over his last two games and deserves a look.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) will not play against the Raptors on Friday.

The Hornets refuse to rule Zeller out for the season, so we will continue to update his status as the days go by. Willy Hernangomez, Frank Kaminsky and Bismack Biyombo will continue to split the minutes down low for the Hornets.

The Hornets are ruling Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) out for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

With 12 straight missed games and the Hornets' playoff chances dwindling by the day, there doesn't seem to be a reason that Zeller would return this year with only four games remaining after Wednesday. Willy Hernangomez, Frank Kaminsky and Bismack Biyombo should continue to see all the C minutes the rest of the way, with the former two being quality streaming options in the right matchups.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) has been ruled out of Monday's matchup vs. the Jazz.

This will be his 11th consecutive missed game and at this point it doesn't look like he'll be returning this season. The Hornets only have six games left and Zeller can be dropped if anyone is still holding onto him.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) will miss his 10th consecutive game on Sunday when the Hornets take on the Warriors.

Zeller's absence has really hurt the Hornets, who need all the help they can get as their playoff push comes right down to the wire. Willy Hernangomez and Frank Kaminsky are the replacements to keep an eye on in fantasy, though the matchup points to Frank the Tank playing more tomorrow. All bets are off if this one hits garbage time though.

The Hornets are listing Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) as out for Friday's matchup vs. the Lakers.

Zeller will miss his ninth game in a row, and the early out designation doesn't bode well for his chances of suiting up for Sunday's game either. Fanatsy owners fighting for a championship can move on from Zeller as it looks like he will not be helping you. Willy Hernangomez is averaging 10.3 points, 7.0 rebounds and a block in 20.7 minutes over his last four games, and is looking like a nice pickup for the home stretch in deeper leagues.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Spurs.

Zeller will miss his eighth straight game tomorrow and can be dropped with fantasy owners needing immediate production at this point in the year. Frank Kaminsky was the pickup of choice last week but it's been Willy Hernangomez who's putting up numbers over the last couple of games. Bismack Biyombo has been playing limited minutes as a starter but it's the other two who are better plays — Hernangomez offers more upside while Kaminsky is the target if you need threes.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) will not play in Sunday's matchup vs. the Raptors.

Zeller has missed seven straight games now and he isn't worth owning anywhere. Willy Hernangomez has been playing 20.1 minutes over the past week and he's likely the person who gains the most from Zeller's absence.

Cody Zeller (left knee soreness) and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (concussion protocol) will both miss Saturday's game against the Celtics.

Zeller and Kidd-Gilchrist are no longer in the conversation for standard-league viability in the home stretch. Zeller specifically was putting up top-100 value on a per-game basis but taking a zero right now is just not a good strategy. Frank Kaminsky, Miles Bridges and Dwayne Bacon will be more involved.

Cody Zeller (sore left knee) has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Wolves.

Bismack Biyombo should start again and might play more than usual against Karl-Anthony Towns, but he's only an option if you're streaming for boards and blocks. Frank Kaminsky remains the best fantasy option among Charlotte's reserve centers.

Cody Zeller (sore left knee) is doubtful to play the Wolves on Thursday.

It looks like Zeller is heading towards a fifth straight absence. Bismack Biyombo should continue to start while Frank Kaminsky plays a big role off the bench.
