  • D.J. Augustin
    PG, Orlando Magic

D.J. Augustin’s much-improved play of late has factored heavily into the Magic having the NBA’s most productive offense over the last 11 games.

Augustin has shown tremendous signs of regaining his rhythm of late. Two nights after scoring 18 points in the Magic’s rout of the Wolves, the veteran guard torched the Rockets for 24 points, one shy of his season high. For the season, he has averaged 10.0 points and 4.6 assists on 39.2 percent from the floor and 34.1 from 3-point range while also helping mentor Markelle Fultz. Augustin is a nice commodity in deeper leagues and the hope is that he can remain healthy until the end of the season.

  • Markelle Fultz
    PG, Orlando Magic

Markelle Fultz was solid vs. the Rockets on Sunday, accounting for 18 points (8-of-12 FG), five assists, two 3-pointers and three turnovers.

Fultz had a tidy game in just 28 minutes of action. He remains a reliable end of the roster point guard in standard leagues. D.J. Augustin was also productive in this game, going for 24 points (7-of-10 FG, 6-of-6 FT) and four 3-pointers. Augustin has had two strong games and could be in for some standard league value while Evan Fournier (elbow) is out indefinitely. Michael Carter-Williams has emerged as a deep league option, and he put up 16 points on strong percentages along with one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

D.J. Augustin scored 18 points (4-for-7 shooting) to go along with five assists, three rebounds and a triple in 27 minutes off the bench in Friday's win over the Wolves.

Augustin and Michael Carter-Williams (17 points, five assists, two rebounds, one triple and one steal) both took advantage of the extra opportunity left by Evan Fournier's absence and posted serviceable lines. Look for both to be streaming options if Fournier's injury lingers.

DJ Augustin (left knee bone irritation) will be available for Friday's game.

Augustin will be returning from a 15-game absence and while he will be worked along slowly, it should be a big lift to the Magic in the long run. It's possible that he takes some minutes from Markelle Fultz in certain situations, but the Magic's various fantasy values shouldn't change much. Augustin is back on the radar as a deep-league option for assists and threes.

DJ Augustin (left knee bone irritation) went through a full practice on Wednesday and is questionable for Friday.

Augustin has missed the previous 15 games and will return to a bench role when he's ready to go. He's only a deep-league option for assists and threes, though he is one of the better specialist types available for dimes.

  • Markelle Fultz
    PG, Orlando Magic

Markelle Fultz had a rough night with five turnovers, but managed 16 points, four rebounds and six assists as the Magic lost a close game to the Knicks 105-103.

Fultz didn't struggle to shoot the ball in this game, going 6-of-9 from the floor. The turnovers have put a damper on some offensive improvement from Fultz in the last four games. He should continue to be a decent source of assists and steals until D.J. Augustin returns from injury, which may complicate his outlook.

    PG, Orlando Magic

D.J. Augustin (left knee bone irritation) is hopeful that he will be able to make his return to the court immediately following the All-Star break.

Augustin last played in mid-January but appears to be nearing a return. He is on the edge of standard league value when he is able to play so there is no need to rush and pick him up off the wire. His return could negatively affect the fantasy value of Markelle Fultz.

D.J. Augustin underwent an MRI on Thursday and will be reevaluated in three-to-four weeks.

Augustin will only return if he responds well to the treatment so the timetable is three or four weeks at best. Until then, Markelle Fultz is going to get every opportunity to show what he's got.

  • Michael Carter-Williams
    PG, Orlando Magic

Michael Carter-Williams has been ruled out of Thursday's matchup vs. the Clippers with a AC joint sprain in his left shoulder.

Markelle Fultz will be the primary ball-handler on Thursday again with MCW and D.J. Augustin ruled out with injuries. Depending on Evan Fournier's status, the Magic could have some interesting low-cost DFS options on Thursday's five-game slate.

D.J. Augustin will not play against the Clippers on Thursday as he continues to nurse a sore left knee.

With Augustin ruled out, look for Markelle Fultz to continue to get all the minutes he can handle a day after notching a triple-double in a victory over the Lakers. Augustin's next opportunity to return will come on Saturday against the Warriors.

  • Evan Fournier
    SF, Orlando Magic

Evan Fournier is listed as questionable for Wednesday due to a right quad contusion suffered on Monday.

Despite scoring 25 points, Fournier was apparently kicked during the Sacramento game. The Magic are already without D.J. Augustin and Michael Carter-Williams against the Lakers, so Aaron Gordon could see monster usage if Fournier sits.

D.J. Augustin (sore left knee) will not face the Lakers on Wednesday.

The Magic will lean heavily on Markelle Fultz in his absence. Augustin can provide assists and sporadic scoring, but his fantasy value is trending downward.

D.J. Augustin (sore left knee) is being listed as doubtful to play against the Lakers on Wednesday.

Augustin played through a questionable tag in Monday's game against the Kings, but it looks like he didn't fare as well as he hoped. If Augustin can't go, Markelle Fultz would see a bump in playing time while Evan Fournier and possibly Michael Carter-Williams (questionable) would be tasked with more ball-handling duties.
