    PG, Orlando Magic

Markelle Fultz logged 17 minutes off the bench on Saturday and was able to produce six points (3-of-8 shooting) two rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Eyes are on Fultz this preseason as fans and experts alike eagerly await to see a healthy Fultz take the floor and shoot well. This wasn't a bad showing. D.J Augustin started at the point and delivered seven points, one rebound, four dimes and four steals with one 3-pointer in 16 minutes. Fultz's outlook remains as a deep-league target until further notice.

Markelle Fultz, who had been plagued by a right shoulder injury, will not have any restrictions in training camp according to Magic President of Basketball Operations Jeff Weltman.

Fultz was the first overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft but has been plagued by injuries over his first two seasons. Even if he remains healthy, D.J. Augustin and Michael Carter-Williams are also point guard options for the Magic. However, Fultz has real potential if he can stay on the court.

D.J. Augustin shot 4-for-9 from the floor for 15 points with one board, four assists, and four 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the Raptors on Tuesday.

Augustin hit all of his shots from beyond the arc. He played like a savvy vet during the whole playoff series, but it's unfortunate his team didn't follow suit. The 30-year-old can still ball, but his days are numbered moving forward.

D.J. Augustin had a phenomenal game with 25 points, two boards, six assists and two 3-pointers in Saturday's 104-101 upset win against the Raptors.

Augustin sure knows when to put up his best game of the season. He hit the go-ahead three with 1.4 seconds left against one of the heavy favorites to make the Finals. He wasn't afraid of the moment and just outdueled Kyle Lowry every chance he could get. The Magic need every bit of Augustin if they are to get out of this series alive.

  • D.J. Augustin
    G, Orlando Magic

D.J. Augustin ended his regular season with 18 points (7-of-13 shooting) and three 3-pointers on Wednesday night.

Augustin was rarely an exciting fantasy player, but he came away with top-130 value and vaults into the top-95 in terms of total value thanks to 81 games. Most of his value came from 5.3 assists and 1.6 threes per game as well as an .870 mark from the charity stripe and a career-high .468 conversion rate from the field. There's been a lot of talk this year about how Orlando needs a point guard, but Augustin did a pretty nice job while everyone was scrambling to find his replacement.

D.J. Augustin established a new season-high with 13 assists on Sunday, rounding out his line with 11 points, seven rebounds, a steal and a 3-pointer.

Augustin and Michael Carter-Williams have given Orlando some quality point guard play of late, and it's helped the team end their playoff drought. Augustin tied his season-high in assists through three quarters while MCW posted four points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals and a block in his 16 minutes tonight. The Magic still have to see where they'll finish in the standings so we wouldn't expect a rest day for Augustin even with the big job done.

D.J. Augustin was generally solid on Thursday night with 18 points, four boards, four assists and two 3-pointers.

Augustin has been steady and reliable over the last couple months and has been useful in fantasy as a cheap point guard option all season. Evan Fournier has been far more erratic (13 points on 15 shots in this game) and is closer to the cut line than originally expected.

D.J. Augustin bounced back from a quiet game despite shooting just 3-for-11 on Tuesday as he put up 17 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two threes vs. the Heat.

Augustin has been a fairly reliable mid-round-value player over the last month and in helping the Magic win six in a row. Evan Fournier (11 points, four rebounds, three assists and two threes) and Michael Carter-Williams (three points, six boards, six dimes, a block and a trey) both cooled off a bit tonight.

Despite a big win over the Sixers, D.J. Augustin had a quiet game with just four points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal in 25 minutes on Monday.

Augustin has been a reliable fantasy starter, providing value near the top-50 range for a few weeks now, so this is probably an aberration. Jonathan Isaac (eight points and four rebounds with four cash-counters) and Terrence Ross (seven points, three rebounds and three assists) also underwhelmed statistically.

Augustin has been rolling, coming into today’s game with top-60 value in 9-cat over his last five games. If you can survive his paltry two games this week, he’ set for four games next week for those of you in H2H.

D.J. Augustin scored 11 points on Sunday to go along with nine assists, two triples, two steals and two boards against the Hawks.

Augustin has been a top-50 asset over the last week and the entire Magic squad is going full-bore as they make a push for the playoffs. Augustin's minutes are up as are his steals and triples so give him a look in DFS as a possible value.

D.J. Augustin scored 20 points while handing out seven assists to go with three boards, two steals and a 3-pointer on Thursday.

Augustin played only 26 minutes, which was the lowest of any Magic starter, but he was able to capitalize against one of the worst teams in the league. He's put up solid value for owners in need of dimes, steals and treys but the Magic only play once more this week and have an upcoming two-game week.
