  • Dante Exum
    PG, Utah Jazz

Dante Exum (patellar tendon rehab) is being listed as out for Wednesday's preseason game against the Blazers.

Injuries have dampened the once-promising rookie's career. He is not on the fantasy radar.

Dante Exum (patellar tendon rehab) is still not ready to roll and will miss the Jazz's preseason game vs. the Kings on Monday.

Exum has been plagued with injuries his whole career, making him hard to trust in fantasy, even in the deepest of leagues.

Dante Exum (knee) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Exum and Emmanuel Mudiay are both out for Friday's matchup. They are currently competing for a bench role for this team but neither should be drafted in standard redraft leagues.

  • Emmanuel Mudiay
    PG, Utah Jazz

Emmanuel Mudiay (left hamstring) will not play in Friday's preseason game vs. the Pelicans.

Mudiay is in a competition with Dante Exum who was also ruled out from Friday's matchup. Nigel Williams-Goss and Justin Wright-Foreman should see some minutes in Friday's preseason matchup but neither factor into the fantasy landscape. Monitor Mudiay's status as training camp rolls on.

Emmanuel Mudiay (left hamstring soreness) and Dante Exum (knee) have been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Bucks.

Mudiay and Exum are going to compete for the backup PG job when they get healthy. Mudiay has a leg up on Exum, who is being brought along slowly after yet another surgery. Neither is worth a standard league target.

Jazz guard Dante Exum, who is coming off surgery on his right knee, will be brought along conservatively in training camp.

Exum has an extensive injury history but is expected to be ready for the regular season. He could even be used at shooting guard or forward instead of his usual point guard position. Exum is not a recommended fantasy option until he proves that he can play more than his average of 15.8 minutes last season.

    G, Utah Jazz

Dante Exum won't play for the Boomers this year due to the knee injury he sustained this season.

The Jazz gave Exum a three-year deal worth $33 million in the last offseason so it’s reasonable that they want to have him healthy for the start of training camp. The 23-year-old Aussie has struggled to avoid injuries in his short NBA career and it remains to be seen if he’s able to bounce back next year.

Dante Exum can't seem to catch a break, ending 2018-19 on a sour note, undergoing patellar tendon surgery to cap off a 42-game season.

It's hard not to feel for Exum, who has dealt with a plethora of injuries since 2016. In 15.8 minutes Exum presented with 6.9 points, 2.6 assists and 1.6 rebounds per game this season, allowing him to finish with 360/400 8/9-cat per-game value and 340/360 8/9-cat totals value. Fingers are crossed that the 23-year-old Aussie will finally get healthy and be able to find fantasy-relevance in 2019-20.

  • Ricky Rubio
    G, Utah Jazz

Ricky Rubio (left quad contusion) left Friday’s game vs. Kings in the first quarter and will not return.

At least it wasn’t his hamstring. All kidding aside, Rubio has been banged up for the better part of two years and can’t seem to shake the nagging injuries. With Raul Neto and Dante Exum unavailable, look for Royce O’Neale to get more run. Rubio finished with four points, two rebounds and a turnover in five minutes of action.

Dante Exum (patellar tendon) underwent surgery for a partially torn patellar tendon on Wednesday and will miss the remainder of the season.

Exum seems to have a serious injury every year, and will wind up missing 206 games out of a possible 410 through the first five years of his NBA career. Hopefully Exum can recover and start to shake the injury bug that has derailed his career to this point. He is far off the fantasy radar.

MRI results showed Dante Exum has a partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee and is out indefinitely.

Exum just can’t seem to shake the injury bug that has derailed a promising start to his professional basketball career. An official timetable hasn’t yet been set but we doubt Exum suits up again this season. His absence would mean more time for Royce O’Neale and Raul Neto though neither is worth an add as long as Ricky Rubio is playing.

Dante Exum is out for the rest of Thursday night's game with right knee soreness.

Exum just returned from an ankle sprain on Monday, but only made it one game before injuring himself again. He'll sit out the rest of the night with this knee issue and we'll have to check back on his status in the future.

Dante Exum returned from a 24-game absence on Monday night, playing 15 minutes and going 0-of-5 from the field with one rebound and three assists.

Exum will be brought back slowly but his return is going to help Utah's bench substantially as a wing defender and playmaker. He's only worth a look in fantasy when Ricky Rubio is sidelined.

Dante Exum (left ankle sprain) will return to action on Monday against the Thunder.

Exum is returning from a 24-game absence and will have an opportunity to play with both Ricky Rubio and Raul Neto out. With Rubio out, Exum has some fantasy upside. Neto falls off the fantasy radar with Exum's return.
