Dante Exum

  • Dante Exum - G - Utah Jazz

MRI results showed Dante Exum has a partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee and is out indefinitely.

Exum just can’t seem to shake the injury bug that has derailed a promising start to his professional basketball career. An official timetable hasn’t yet been set but we doubt Exum suits up again this season. His absence would mean more time for Royce O’Neale and Raul Neto though neither is worth an add as long as Ricky Rubio is playing.

Dante Exum is out for the rest of Thursday night's game with right knee soreness.

Exum just returned from an ankle sprain on Monday, but only made it one game before injuring himself again. He'll sit out the rest of the night with this knee issue and we'll have to check back on his status in the future.

  • Dante Exum - G - Utah Jazz

Dante Exum returned from a 24-game absence on Monday night, playing 15 minutes and going 0-of-5 from the field with one rebound and three assists.

Exum will be brought back slowly but his return is going to help Utah's bench substantially as a wing defender and playmaker. He's only worth a look in fantasy when Ricky Rubio is sidelined.

Dante Exum (left ankle sprain) will return to action on Monday against the Thunder.

Exum is returning from a 24-game absence and will have an opportunity to play with both Ricky Rubio and Raul Neto out. With Rubio out, Exum has some fantasy upside. Neto falls off the fantasy radar with Exum's return.

Dante Exum (left ankle sprain, bone bruise) is listed as probable for Monday's game against the Thunder.

Exum will be returning from a 24-game absence. Ricky Rubio and Raul Neto are both out for Monday's game, so Exum will be able to get minutes right away. Exum will have a hard time sustaining value while Rubio is healthy, but whenever Rubio is out, Exum has upside.

  • Dante Exum - G - Utah Jazz

Dante Exum (left ankle sprain, bone bruise) was able to go through a full practice on Sunday.

Exum looks to be on the cusp of a return and will be returning from a 24-game absence if he can play in Utah's next game. He'll come back as Ricky Rubio's backup and help the Jazz with their defense in the second unit. It'd take a Rubio injury — which isn't exactly unlikely, mind you — to get Exum on the radar.

Dante Exum (left ankle sprain, bone bruise) has been assigned by the Jazz to their G-league affiliate, Salt Lake City Stars.

Exum has never been known for being a healthy guy and has not lived up as a top-5 pick in the 2014 NBA draft due to constantly being injured every year. He has already missed 24 games this season but should be on track to come back soon since he's already working out with their affiliate team to get his conditioning back up again.

Dante Exum's (left ankle sprain, bone bruise) medical examination went well and he plans to return to practice this week.

Exum has missed 24 straight games with the ankle injury and despite his athleticism he's never been able to stay on the floor, a fact which certainly has hurt his ability to work on his game and develop a more fantasy-friendly skill-set (i.e. more 3s and steals).

  • Ricky Rubio - G - Utah Jazz

Ricky Rubio (hip strain) will not play Friday vs. the Grizzlies.

Royce O’Neale is the prime candidate to start for Rubio and usually puts up usable low-end numbers when Rubio sits. Backup guards Dante Exum and Raul Neto are also out for Friday’s contest.

Dante Exum (left ankle sprain, bone bruise) will be re-evaluated on Friday.

Exum was shut down for two weeks back on February 22 when the team discovered the bone bruise, but he hasn't played since January 5 because of the sprain. The Jazz miss his playmaking and defense in the second unit but there's not much fantasy impact here, even when Exum is healthy.

  • Dante Exum - G - Utah Jazz

Dante Exum has a bone bruise that has accompanied his left ankle sprain and will miss the next two weeks.

Exum just hasn't been able to stay healthy his whole career with one issue or another popping up to keep him off the court. There's no add here for fantasy purposes.

  • Dante Exum - G - Utah Jazz

Dante Exum (sprained left ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's matchup with the Thunder.

Exum missed practice to get his ankle re-evaluated today so this is a bit of a disappointment. It's been over a month on the sidelines for Exum, who will slide back into the backup point guard role whenever he is ready to return. There's not a ton of fantasy appeal here.

Dante Exum (sprained left ankle) missed Wednesday's practice as he was undergoing a re-evaluation of his ankle.

Well if you're going to miss practice, at least that's a good reason. Exum was able to go through a partial practice on Wednesday and we should get another update on his potential return tomorrow. Today's absence shouldn't be considered a setback.

Dante Exum (sprained left ankle) was a partial participant in Wednesday's practice.

Exum got hurt on January 5 and has been out since. He does appear to be on the cusp of a return and may be able to play on Friday, though the Jazz will give an official update tomorrow. With Ricky Rubio back healthy, Exum is only worth looking at in leagues with more than 16 teams.

Dante Exum (left ankle sprain) was re-evaluated on Tuesday and it has been determined that he'll be re-evaluated again in a week.

Exum's sprained ankle was expected to sideline him for multiple weeks, though it's less of a pressing concern for the Jazz now that Ricky Rubio has returned. Exum can hit the wire in leagues with 16 teams or fewer.
