  • Dante Exum
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Dante Exum (illness) is available for Monday's game against the Lakers.

Exum surprised everyone by scoring 28 points on January 5 but hasn't played since then. He's someone to monitor, but don't rush to claim him yet.

Dante Exum (illness) is questionable for Monday's game against the Lakers.

Exum has missed three straight games and it's come at a terrible time, with Kevin Porter's injury opening up a big opportunity. Exum's a wait-and-see guy in standard leagues but is a worthwhile flier in deeper formats. A return would hurt Brandon Knight and Matthew Dellavedova.

Dante Exum (illness) will miss Saturday's contest against the Nuggets.

It is a shame as Exum was getting plenty of run on his new squad. While he did have an excellent night of scoring the last time out, it is fool's gold to assume he will keep doing that as a Cav.

Dante Exum has been ruled out of Thursday's contest vs. the Pistons as he continues to recover from an illness.

Exum has seen his playing time more than double since being traded to the Cavs but will miss his second consecutive game on Thursday. Brandon Knight and Matthew Dellavedova are likely to see additional minutes off the bench with Exum ruled out.

Dante Exum will not play in Tuesday's game against the Pistons due to illness.

This is a bummer as Exum is coming off a career-high 28 points in Sunday's loss to the Wolves. The good news is that it isn't another injury for the oft-injured guard. The Cavs play the Pistons again on Thursday. Matthew Dellavedova and Brandon Knight will see additional minutes.

    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

Dante Exum put up a career-high 28 points on 11-of-13 shooting in a 118-103 loss to the Wolves on Sunday.

Exum knocked down all four of his triples and added three rebounds and one steal to the box score. Exum is taking over Jordan Clarkson's role in the rotation, so the opportunity will be there for him to produce. Keep an eye on Exum's production as he could be trending up to late-round value.

  • Kevin Porter Jr.
    SG-SF, Cleveland Cavaliers

Kevin Porter Jr. scored 16 points (5-of-5 FT), with four assists, three rebounds and one 3-pointer against the Celtics on Friday.

Porter has been up and down lately, but with Jordan Clarkson out of town that should help balance the bench units out into Porter's favor. He has some deep-league appeal and could outplay newly imported Dante Exum (nine points, one 3-pointer, two steals) to be the main guard coming off the Cavs' bench.

  • Dante Exum
    PG, Cleveland Cavaliers

John Beilein says that Dante Exum will move into Jordan Clarkson's role in the rotation, and could play anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes on Friday night in his Cavs debut.

Clarkson was Cleveland's sixth man and one of the team's leading scorers, and while that's not exactly Exum's game it is encouraging that he'll get legitimate minutes after being mostly out of the rotation in Utah. Exum's worth watching closely in deep leagues and perhaps having more of a traditional and defensively inclined guard in the mix will elevate everyone's game. Exum has seen his playing time trend down every year since averaging 22.2 mpg as a rookie, but it sounds like he'll have a good chance to buck the trend.

    PG, Utah Jazz

The Cavs have agreed to trade Jordan Clarkson for Dante Exum and two second round picks.

The Cavs are selling high on Clarkson, who has been a solid scorer off the bench. They'll take a shot on Exum, who has shown flashes of potential, but has struggled to stay healthy. Exum should see increased minutes with the move, as he played more than ten minutes just three times this season with the Jazz. Kevin Porter Jr. could also see more time in place of Clarkson.

  • Mike Conley
    PG, Utah Jazz

Mike Conley (left hamstring strain) is being ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wolves.

It is uncertain how much longer Conley will be out, but Joe Ingles will continue to reap the benefits in the meantime, while Emmanuel Mudiay and Dante Exum will see some extra time off the bench.

Dante Exum (patellar tendon) has been upgraded to probable for Thursday's matchup against the Grizzlies on Friday.

Exum has been mired by injuries dating back to his sophomore season in the NBA. He last played a game on March 14, 2019 so it will be great to see him get back out there. He is best left on the waiver wire until he proves that he is healthy and a viable fantasy option. He is currently behind Mike Conley and Emmanuel Mudiay while both Donovan Mitchell and Joe Ingles also handle the ball at times during their games.

  • Emmanuel Mudiay
    PG, Utah Jazz

Emmanuel Mudiay (hamstring) and Dante Exum (patellar tendon) have been ruled out of Wednesday's game against the Sixers.

With Exum and Mudiay again out, Mike Conley will continue to see a heavy dose of minutes while Joe Ingles gets a handful of extra minutes as a point-forward off the bench.

Dante Exum (partially torn right patellar tendon) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice.

Exum has seen his career derailed by injuries up to this point. He is expected to have a minimal role off the Jazz bench when he is ready to go and is not on the fantasy radar in standard leagues.
