DaQuan Jeffries

Fantasy News

  • Trevor Ariza
    SF, Sacramento Kings

Trevor Ariza is questionable for Friday's game against the Lakers as he deals with a sore right groin.

DaQuan Jeffries will be available tonight so that could be an indication that Ariza is not going to take the floor tonight. Either way, Ariza has been a disappointment this year, and it seems like his days of fantasy relevance for standard leagues are done.

The Kings have called up two-way player DaQuan Jeffries from their G League affiliate on Thursday.

DaQuan Jeffries is likely insurance in case Trevor Ariza (groin) is forced to miss some time as De'Aaron Fox has already been ruled out for weeks. He has yet to play a minute in a regular season game but might get his opportunity in the near future. He is not on the fantasy radar.

DaQuan Jeffries has signed a two-way contract with the Kings.

Jeffries was recently waived by the Magic. He averaged 13.0 points and 5.6 rebounds in his senior year at the University of Tulsa. He is unlikely to have a fantasy impact.

    SG, Orlando Magic

The Magic waived DaQuan Jeffries, Jon Davis, Isaac Humphries, B.J. Johnson and Vic Law.

The Magic's roster now stands at 15 players as we head into the regular season. Jeffries had some appeal as a defensive specialist coming out of Tulsa, but otherwise, none of these moves are relevant to fantasy.

The Magic have signed DaQuan Jeffries and Vic Law to Exhibit 10 contracts.

Jeffries and Law will provide organizational depth down in the G-League but not much more next season. They can be ignored in fantasy..

Daquan Jeffries played a team-high 30 minutes in Wednesday's eight point loss to Brooklyn, scoring 15 points on 6-of-17 shooting to go with a steal, a block and two 3-pointers.

Jeffries is likely looking at a lot of time in the G-league this season if he sticks around. He is not on the fantasy radar.

  • Daquan Jeffries
    PG, Orlando Magic

DaQuan Jeffries scored 21 points with six assists, three steals and five treys on 7-of-13 shooting in Tuesday's Summer League loss to the Heat.

Jeffries also picked up seven personal fouls in the game, which puts a damper on his offensive output. Along with Jeffries, teammate Jeremiah Hill picked up six fouls while narrowly missing a double-double with nine points and nine assists. Hill and Jeffries are longshots to crack the Magic rotation should they find themselves on the team.

The Magic have signed Tulsa shooting guard DaQuan Jeffries to a deal after he went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft on Thursday.

Jeffries is a strong defender, who is excellent at calling out rotations and staying in sync with his team's defense. He's not the most agile of athletes but is able to create his own shot when necessary. He's best used on offense when he's finishing at the rim but is just an average shooter.
