The Heat have waived two-way player Daryl Macon in order to sign G leaguer, Gabe Vincent.

This move doesn't impact the fantasy landscape for now as Macon only played four games for the Heat this season while Vincent will have a very difficult time cracking the rotation.

The Heat have sent two-way player Daryl Macon back to their G League affiliate ahead of the showcase that will take place in Las Vegas.

The G League puts on a showcase in Las Vegas every year to allow teams to scout the talent that is in the minor league system. Macon is not currently on the fantasy radar as he has only played in four games so far this year.

Daryl Macon has rejoined the Heat ahead of Wednesday’s game against the Sixers.

Macon will only provide insurance depth with the Heat missing a few guys. He is not in the fantasy radar.

    PG, Miami Heat

Tyler Herro (ankle) is being ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Pistons.

The Heat have a laundry list of unavailable players for Tuesday's game. Duncan Robinson and the newly called up Daryl Macon are going to see a lot of the bench minutes in this one.

Daryl Macon has rejoined the Heat ahead of Tuesday's game against the Pistons.

With the Heat dealing with a multitude of injuries, the team needed another fresh body off the bench. Macon may see a few minutes tonight, but there is little fantasy value to be found here.

The Heat have signed Chris Silva and Daryl Macon to two-way deals.

The Heat also waived Kyle Alexander, Davon Reed, Skyler Flatten and Bubu Palo. This leaves the team with 14 players on their active roster. Silva and Macon will have limited roles and little to no value in fantasy.

The Heat have signed Daryl Macon.

Macon getting picked up by another NBA squad after a solid Summer League campaign is not a shocker. If he were to crack the rotation he would post a nice assist rate, but it is unlikely Macon will be getting playing time unless something goes terribly wrong for the Heat this season.

  • Daryl Macon
    PG, Dallas Mavericks

The Mavs have waived Daryl Macon.

Macon appeared in eight games with the Mavs last season after going undrafted out of Arkansas. He looked respectable in Summer League, so it wouldn't be surprising if he landed somewhere for training camp.

    G, Dallas Mavericks

Daryl Macon scored a career-high 11 points in Friday's loss to the Grizzlies, going 4-of-9 from the field with three 3-pointers in 21 minutes.

Macon's previous career-high was two points. He got the extra run tonight with Jalen Brunson and Luka Doncic both sitting, so we'd probably look elsewhere unless the Mavs get weird in their final game of the year next week. Ryan Broekhoff chipped in nine points, a 3-pointer and six boards in 24 minutes of his own.

    G, Dallas Mavericks

The Mavs formally announced that they have signed Daryl Macon to a two-way contract.

The Arkansas product averaged 7.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 22.4 minutes per game during Summer League with the Heat. Macon can be left off of fantasy radars.

The Mavericks have agreed to a deal with undrafted guard Daryl Macon.

Macon earned an offer from the Heat thanks to his strong effort with Miami's Summer League team but has decided to pursue an opportunity in Dallas instead. Both of those teams have a lot of backcourt depth and no real pathway to NBA playing time this season, so it's possible that the Mavs offered him a little more cash or pitched their player development group a bit better. There won't be any fantasy impact here.

    G, Miami Heat

The Heat have added Arkansas guard Daryl Macon to their Summer League roster.

Macon considered declaring for the draft last season but returned to school for one more season. He's got decent court vision and an attacking mentality, so he could carve out a spot as a role player in the long-term. In the immediate future he looks like a G-League candidate.
