DeAndre Bembry

Fantasy News

  • Taurean Prince
    F, Atlanta Hawks

Taurean Prince (right Achilles pain) is listed as doubtful for Saturday’s game against the Pacers.

Prince also missed Thursday’s game and we hope his Achilles is feeling better. DeAndre’ Bembry got the start in that one but with usual starter John Collins probable to play on Saturday we probably will see additional changes to the Hawks’ starting lineup.

    F, Atlanta Hawks

DeAdnre' Bembry started in place of Taurean Prince on Thursday and scored two points on 1-of-8 shooting with two rebounds, an assists and a block.

Bembry got the sport start and did nothing with it as the Hawks were absolutely blown out of the water in this one. If he actually had a sizable role there is some potential for across the board production but until then we'll just keep a watch on him.

DeAndre' Bembry will start Thursday's game in place of the injured Taurean Prince.

This isn't going to be a common occurrence when the Hawks are healthier. For now, Bembry is just a deep-league flier. Nothing to see here.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    F, Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre' Bembry scored 13 points off the bench in Tuesday's loss to the Warriors, hitting 4-of-7 shots (including two threes) with one rebound, one assist, three steals and one block in just 17 minutes.

Bembry is going to be inconsistent but if he ever gets let loose he'll have upside even if he doesn't improve the percentages. And if he ever improves the percentages then he'll really be on to something. He's still just a luxury stash for most 12-14 team squads as he hasn't been able to crack the top-200 mark this season.

  • DeAndre
    F, Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre’ Bembry had seven points and five rebounds on 3-of-6 shooting in a loss to the Knicks on Wednesday.

Bembry has been a deep-league guy this season as his sixth man role is solidified. He also added two assists, one steal and three blocks to the box score. Do not add him or expect much if you own him unless there is an injury to Taurean Prince or Kent Bazemore. For now, he is a deep-league guy who has the potential for late-round value if his role increases.

DeAndre' Bembry will start in Wednesday's contest.

Taurean Prince is returning for this game but will be coming off the bench and Kevin Huerter (personal) is out. Bembry should be owned in deep leagues already, but his start on Wednesday makes him an intriguing, cheap DFS option.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    F, Atlanta Hawks

Deandre' Bembry scored six points on 2-of-8 shooting with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 23 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Heat.

Bembry has been on the fantasy radar because of his versatility and also because it's not a stretch to see him increasing his role for a bad Hawks squad. He has returned low-end value for 14-16 team leagues so far in 24.8 mpg, and his shooting efficiencies are a concern despite the intriguing counting stats.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    F, Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre' Bembry scored 11 points with 16 rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in 29 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Mavs.

He shot 4-of-11 from the field so his efficiency was not ideal, but this was a great game for Bembry. He will be one of the main bench guys for the Hawks this season, so he should be owned in all deep leagues.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    F, Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre' Bembry scored 13 points in 16 minutes against the Cavs on Sunday evening.

Bembry went 5-of-8 from the field and hit three 3-pointers while also chipping in three rebounds, an assist and a pair of steals. Deep league owners should make sure that Bembry isn't available right now, as he's gotten off to a very strong start this season and should be cementing his role as one of the Hawks' top bench options.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    F, Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre' Bembry played 32 minutes in Friday's loss and finished with 12 points, three rebounds, an assist, a steal, a block and a 3-pointer.

Bembry looks to be one of the first Hawks off the bench this season and should capture your attention in 16-teamers. Fellow bench guy Alex Poythress posted eight points, seven rebounds and a triple-one of his own in 21 minutes but will be tough to trust unless the Hawks play exclusively garbage time games this season. On second thought, maybe give him a look too.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    F, Atlanta Hawks

Forward DeAndre’ Bembry hopes to be a spark off the team’s bench after suffering several injuries last season.

Bembry played in just 26 games in his second year but had a strong preseason, averaging 11.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. The team picked up his fourth-year option on Monday and he is someone you should keep an eye in deeper leagues.

  • DeAndre' Bembry
    F/G, Atlanta Hawks

DeAndre' Bembry led the Hawks in scoring on Monday against the Pelicans with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting to go with a 3-pointer, five boards, four assists and a steal.

Bembry has a real shot at being in the rotation for a Hawks team starved of talent. Taurean Prince is still the wing to own on this team, but Bembry plays hard and the opportunity is his for the taking. He's just a guy you'll want to keep an eye on throughout the preseason though.
