    PF, Brooklyn Nets

The Nets have waived Deng Adel and John Egbunu.

No surprises here as teams are starting to trim rosters with the preseason slate almost finished. Adel spent time with the Cavs last season and may be able to latch on with another team, while Egbunu is still more of an unknown.

Deng Adel and the Nets have an agreement in principle on an Exhibit 10 deal.

Adel played 19 games with the Cavaliers last season and will be lucky to see that much action again with the Nets this season. Adel can be ignored in fantasy drafts.

    PF, Houston Rockets

Deng Adel scored 20 points in Saturday’s win adding seven assists, one steal and one block.

The Rockets have been spoiled in Summer League play with several breakout players chipping in every game. Add Deng Adel to that list as tonight’s 20-point outing will put him on the radar. Adel is unlikely to make the final roster but games like these may create future opportunities for the second-year player.

    SF, Cleveland Cavaliers

Rookie Deng Adel started on Saturday for an injured Cedi Osman (ankle) and was invisible in 25 minutes as he tallied just three points (1-of-7 shooting) and one rebound.

He's not going to stick and post serviceable value right now. Leave him on the wire.

    G/F, Cleveland Cavaliers

Deng Adel logged six minutes in Monday's game against the Bulls, grabbing a single rebound.

Adel played five minutes in his NBA debut on Saturday. He's worthwhile flier on a two-way deal for a Cavs team that figures to move a couple wing options by the trade deadline but is clearly not a fantasy option for the time being.

    F, Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavs have signed Deng Adel of Raptors 905 to a two-way contract.

Adel is an undrafted forward out of Louisville who has averaged 13.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.5 blocks and 1.2 triples in 31.6 minutes per game in the G-League this season. He impressed at this year's G-League showcase and offers some versatility as a wing defender. His 3-point shot remains a work in progress but it's a nice upside flier for the Cavs to take. Owners in 30-teamers can keep eyes on this situation.

    F, Toronto Raptors

Deng Adel has signed a partially guaranteed deal with the Raptors after agreeing to terms with the Wolves earlier this summer.

The Raptors now have 19 players on the roster and Adel is highly unlikely to make the final cut, though he would have a better shot at playing time in Toronto than Minnesota if he did make the roster. He should spend most of his time with Raptors 905.

    F, Atlanta Hawks

Former Louisville Cardinal Deng Adel has agreed to a training camp deal with the Wolves.

Minnesota has a pretty full rotation as is so Adel won't be making much impact even if he can play his way onto the roster. In his final year with Louisville he averaged 15 points, five rebounds and three assists.
