The Heat have decided not to retain Emanuel Terry after his 10-day contract expired.
Terry only appeared in one game for Miami where he played three minutes and will head back to the G-League where he has averaged 10.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.6 blocks in 24.3 minutes. He surely brings the defense but at 6’9″, it may be difficult for the undrafted rookie to find work in the NBA without a 3-point shot.

The Heat have signed undrafted D2 All-American forward Emanuel Terry to a 10-day contract.
Terry played in nine games for the Heat's G-League affiliate, the Sioux Falls Skyforce this season and posted averages of 16.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals and 1.1 blocks per game. He's currently not someone worth picking up in fantasy leagues.

Emanuel Terry made his NBA debut in Sunday's loss to the Lakers, playing nine minutes and picking up five points, three rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Congratulations to Terry on the achievement. He inked a 10-day deal earlier this afternoon and might see this type of spot run until that expires. There's no reason to track Terry's progress outside of 30-team formats.
