Eric Gordon had an awful shooting night on Friday, going 3-of-13 from the field for 12 points, adding two rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Gordon is a streaky shooter and his shot was simply not falling in this game. He's not going to do your team any favors in the FG department, but is worth streaming for points and 3s on most nights.

Eric Gordon (knee surgery) started in his return from a six-week absence on Sunday and looked good in 22 minutes as he posted 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting (four 3s), one rebound, three dimes and one steal.

The Rockets were without their Big 3 of James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Clint Capela. So given their lack of firepower tonight, it was not a big surprise that Gordon would come in, locked and loaded, guns blazing. He's worth owning in standard leagues for points, threes and not much else.

Coach Mike D'Antoni said that Eric Gordon (knee surgery) will be on a 25-minute limit on Sunday.

The minute limit should come as no surprise, given that this will be Gordon's first game back after missing a month's worth of action. He will be eased in slowly and will be a 3-point shooting streamer once he's back up to speed.

Eric Gordon (right knee surgery) will return to the lineup on Sunday against the Pelicans.

Gordon will practice on Friday, sit out Saturday's game and come back on Sunday. He was playing very poorly before getting hurt but if the surgery can help him find his form again then Gordon will be a legitimate 3-point specialist and a low-end play in 12-team leagues. You can wait on that before making an add in most situations.

Despite some optimism that he could return around Christmas, Eric Gordon (right knee surgery) is listed as out ahead of Wednesday's game.

Gordon may still return shortly after Christmas but returning on the holiday itself now appears out of the question. Deep-league GMs might want to consider picking Gordon up as a 3-point specialist if he's sitting on waivers.

Eric Gordon (right knee surgery) has been cleared to start running and could still be able to return to play around Christmas.

The Rockets, and Gordon, won't get into specifics but the original plan of a late-December return is still on the table. Gordon says he's feeling much better and it'll be interesting to see if his play improves as well. The sharpshooter was hitting just 30.9 percent of his shots before going under the knife.

Eric Gordon is expected to miss up to six weeks following right knee surgery.

Ben McLemore, Austin Rivers and Danuel House will be in line for extra minutes while Gordon faces an extended absence. House is the only one in this bunch, Gordon included, that's been worth any sort of attention in 12-team leagues to this point.

Eric Gordon broke through his slump on Monday with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting while chipping in three boards, an assist, a block and four 3-pointers.

Gordon has been by far the worst rotational player for the Rockets and it looks like he finally busted out of another one of his signature prolonged slumps. If you need to cut bait for a hot free agent, we don't blame you at all as all he does is provide triples and points and those can easily be found on the wire. Even though he shot well tonight, he's too much of a sink on your percentages to suggest holding onto.

Eric Gordon (left hamstring) returned from a one-game absence on Saturday and put up nine points (on three 3-pointers) in 21 minutes of action.

This is about what to expect from Gordon, who has been dreadful so far this season. He's not worth an add in 12-teamers just yet but a 3-of-9 performance actually improves his current .278 mark from the field. With the number of guys who can knock down threes in this day and age, it's hard to endorse Gordon as a standard-league asset.

Eric Gordon (left hamstring soreness) will play on Saturday against the Bulls.

Gordon missed Wednesday's game but will get away with a short absence. He's been bad enough in the early going that you can't put him into your lineups automatically, but Gordon's there if you need him.

The Rockets have recalled Michael Frazier from the RGV Vipers of the G League.

Eric Gordon is unable to play on Wednesday, so Frazier will provide some depth. However, he should not hold any fantasy value.

Eric Gordon (left hamstring soreness) will not face the Warriors on Wednesday.

Gordon has gotten off to a poor start shooting the ball, but it's still not ideal news for the Rockets. Ben McLemore is an intriguing option while Gordon is sidelined.

Eric Gordon (left hamstring soreness) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors.

Gordon is coming off his best game of the season in Monday's win against the Grizzlies, scoring 16 points with five rebounds and three treys. The bad part is he still shot 5-of-17 from the field in what has been an abysmal start to the season. If Gordon can't go, Ben McLemore and Austin Rivers will see a chunk of extra minutes off the bench.
