Eric Gordon

Eric Gordon (left hamstring soreness) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Warriors.

Gordon is coming off his best game of the season in Monday's win against the Grizzlies, scoring 16 points with five rebounds and three treys. The bad part is he still shot 5-of-17 from the field in what has been an abysmal start to the season. If Gordon can't go, Ben McLemore and Austin Rivers will see a chunk of extra minutes off the bench.

Eric Gordon bounced back on Monday, scoring 16 points on 5-of-17 shooting to go with five rebounds, one assist, a steal and three 3-pointers.

Gordon was 0-for-10 from deep in his last two games, so tonight he was bound to hit a few from deep. He started the year off absolutely atrocious, but tonight was a step in the right direction. Gordon had a nasty slam over Jonas Valanciunas and looked more engaged tonight, but will still be an inconsistent play due to his streaky shooting.

  • Danuel House
    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House will start for the Rockets on Monday.

The Rockets are resting Russell Westbrook and House is the beneficiary. Eric Gordon is also in line for more time on the court. House has shot well from the perimeter so far this season, which has boosted his value even when he doesn't start.

Eric Gordon was moved into the starting lineup on Sunday and was only able to produce four points on 2-of-10 shooting in 23 minutes of work.

Gordon added a steal and a block but his woeful start continues. He was shooting an abysmal .286 entering this game and was only averaging 2.2 triples per contest, so right now he belongs on all benches, if not on waiver wires in 12-team formats.

Eric Gordon will start in place of Danuel House for Sunday's game against the Heat.

Danuel House will come off the bench. D'Antoni likely intends to get Gordon going, as he's off to a terrible start shooting the ball this season, despite getting clean looks off of James Harden and Russell Westbrook kickouts. This doesn't affect the value of either player.

  • Danuel House
    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House posted 15 points, five rebounds, three three-pointers, one steal and one block in Friday's loss to the Nets.

House is starting to look like a legitimate 3-and-D producer in fantasy. He's currently averaging over 30 minutes per game as the starting small forward for the Rockets and his role seems safe barring injury or trade. Eric Gordon suffered through an abysmal 0-for-7 shooting night in this one, further securing House's role. Look to see if House is available in your league and add him if you need threes and defense.

    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House filled up the box score in Wednesday's pinball win over the Wizards, posting 16 points, seven rebounds, two steals, a block and four 3-pointers in 29 minutes of action.

House looks like the team's starting small forward, and while he certainly won't fill it up like this on a nightly basis he's definitely worth your attention in 14-team formats. Eric Gordon chipped in 15 points and five triples off the bench, and is probably closer to standard-league value even if his production is pretty boring. Gordon's value won't change, starting or off the bench.

  • Eric Gordon
    SG, Houston Rockets

Eric Gordon scored 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting (1-for-7 3PTM) while adding a rebound, two assists and a steal in Monday's game against the Thunder.

Gordon has been known to go on historically bad shooting streaks and he's in the midst of one right now. He can be dropped in favor of other attractive waiver wire options, but if you can stomach the poor percentages, he's still worth keeping for the sheer volume of triples he'll hit.

  • Eric Gordon
    SG, Houston Rockets

Eric Gordon scored 13 points on 5-of-13 shooting, adding two rebounds, one assist and one steal in Saturday's 126-123 win over the Pelicans.

Gordon does not do much but score. Fortunately the Rockets are ok with that and continue to give him big minutes off of the bench as he played more minutes than teammates Russell Westbrook and James Harden. You can expect to get points and treys from Gordon with very little else.

  • Eric Gordon
    SG, Houston Rockets

Eric Gordon scored 11 points on 4-of-19 shooting with a rebound and three 3-pointers against the Bucks on Thursday.

Gordon got hot early, but struggled to get anything going in the fourth. He was unable to hit any of his triples in the last period of the game and was benched in favor of Danuel House. Fantasy owners can take solace in the fact that he was still able to knock down three deep balls, but the awful efficiency is still the same as ever.

  • Danuel House
    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House again started over Eric Gordon in Friday's win over Miami as he mustered 14 points on 4-for-6 shooting, three rebounds, two assists, two 3-pointers and one block across 27 minutes.

Gordon outplayed House off the bench with 23 points (7-for-12 shooting), four 3-pointers, two assists, two steals and one rebound. Neither should contribute on a regular basis in fantasy, but can be useful streams with heavy game weeks or when injuries shorten the Rockets rotation.

    SG, Houston Rockets

Eric Gordon moved to the bench in Houston's preseason loss to the Spurs, finishing with 14 points (5-of-11 shooting) and four 3-pointers in 23 minutes.

It seems that Gordon will go back to providing a scoring punch to the second unit as Houston continues to tinker their lineup in the wake of the Gerald Green (broken left foot) injury. He'll get you tons of 3-pointers not matter where he plays, but with a lack of supporting stats to go with it, you could do better towards the end of your draft.

  • Danuel House
    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House Jr. will start in place of Eric Gordon on Wednesday as the Rockets take on the Spurs.

The Rockets were hit with the injury bug as Gerald Green (broken left foot) was lost for the season. The team may be experimenting with the best rotations to maximize their ceiling. It is possible that House Jr. starts in place of Gordon this season so that Gordon gets easier matchups against second units. This is something to monitor once the regular season arrives but it is unlikely to change their projected minutes heading into the season.

Mike D'Antoni said that the Rockets will keep two of James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Eric Gordon on the floor at all times.

D'Antoni also said that the team's rotation on Wednesday night would be similar to what they use in the regular season, so DFS players should keep an eye on that one. It simply makes sense for the Rockets, with a seemingly thin bench, to keep two of their top three wings on the floor at all times. Harden and Westbrook are what they are no matter what but this should good news for Gordon's playing time. How it affects his usage remains to be seen, and he might not budge off of late-round value anyway.

    PF, Houston Rockets

Danuel House (left leg laceration) will miss Tuesday's game against the Raptors.

House injured his leg last week in practice, but it wasn't considered serious. Look for his return shortly. Ben McLemore and Eric Gordon started on the wings last Thursday while House was out.
