    PG, Milwaukee Bucks

With the Bucks missing three starters on Monday, Frank Mason III drew the start at point guard and had 14 points (5-for-9 FGs, 4-for-4 FTs), three rebounds, six assists and four steals in 27 minutes in a 122-112 win over the Bulls.

Mason would only have value if, like tonight, Eric Bledsoe or George Hill were missing. He is also on a two-way contract, meaning he'll likely spend a lot of time in the G-League.

The Bucks have agreed on a two-way contract with Frank Mason III.

Mason did not get much opportunity with the Kings last year and sat out all of Summer League with a sore hip. He projects to spend most of his time in the G-League and called up only if Eric Bledsoe or George Hill need to miss time. The Bucks recently signed Cameron Reynolds to a two-way deal and still have Bonzie Colson on one from last season so they are one over the limit. They still have an empty roster spot even after signing Kyle Korver so maybe one of their two-ways gets a standard deal instead. Otherwise, one of them will need to be waived.

The Kings are listing Frank Mason III (sore right hip) as out for Tuesday's Summer League game against the Rockets.

Mason was waived by the Kings last week and is missing his chance at auditioning for a roster spot on another team. He'll get another chance at game action on Thursday.

Per Marc Spears of ESPN, the Kings have waived Frank Mason III.

Mason fell out of the rotation last season and was in line to again be a deep-reserve for the Kings this year. He'll now get a head start to latch on with another team this summer.

Frank Mason (sore right hip) will miss Wednesday's Cal Classic matchup with the Lakers.

The Kings did not initially rule Mason out for the entire tournament but he'll end up missing the short three-day event. It's not expected to be serious so we'll see if Mason can play in Vegas.

The Kings have ruled Frank Mason III ( sore right hip) out for Tuesday's upcoming Summer League game vs. the Heat.

Mason missed Monday's game as well, as the team takes a cautious approach with their young guard. The California Classic tournament features three games in three days with the Kings taking on the Lakers on Wednesday. We may see Mason returning for that game.

Frank Mason saw action in 38 games during the 2018-19 season, averaging 5.1 points with 0.4 treys, 1.2 boards and 2.2 assists in 11.5 mpg.

Mason never had the chance to make a significant impact with the Kings this year and it's evident in the minutes that he played. What's a bit concerning is that he only shot 42.0 percent from the field and only made 68.4 percent of his free throws. Those are numbers he would need to improve on in order to get more playing time heading into his third season in the league.

Frank Mason scored 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting (including two threes) with five rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 27 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Nuggets.

Mason did some damage in garbage time and he was also good when the game was somewhat in question. He needs a lot of injury help to be on the fantasy radar in most leagues.

Four games into the NBA preseason schedule and Dave Joerger has an outline of his starting rotation that includes Frank Mason.

“Frank does what does, he’s hard nosed and he’s a guy that a coach always knows he can go to and you’re going to get 110 percent from him,” Joerger said. Mason will likely be a placeholder for the injured Bogdan Bogdanovic. The team hasn’t updated Bogdanovic's status, but the second-year guard had a knee procedure two weeks ago with an original recovery time frame of four to six weeks. It appears that Joerger wants to continue having Buddy Hield come off the bench so the move makes sense. Once Bogdanovic returns though, Mason likely will be in a fight for playing time, despite an extremely impressive preseason.

Frank Mason was one of several Kings to put up fun numbers in Monday's exhibition blowout, with 13 points, eight assists, five steals and a 3-pointer.

Mason started at shooting guard tonight and the two-PG look might not be a bad choice while Bogdan Bogdanovic is on the sidelines. De'Aaron Fox went 7-6-6 with a steal, a triple and two blocks. The game was against Maccabi Haifa, so don't get too worked up.

Frank Mason scored 12 points on 3-of-4 shooting with a 3-pointer, four rebounds, five assists and two steals against the Lakers on Thursday.

Mason dealt with injury issues last season which limited his playing time and disrupted his rhythm, but he's been putting on some strong showings this summer. He's able to get to the line consistently which bodes well since he's only 5'11". If any injuries occur to the Kings starting backcourt, Mason could put up some decent fantasy numbers.
