  • David Nwaba
    SF, Free Agent

According to Shams Charania of the Athletic, the Nets have waived David Nwaba (torn Achilles) on Thursday.

Nwaba tragically suffered an Achilles injury after earning himself a part of the rotation. Nwaba played in 20 games off the bench for the Nets and averaged 5.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 0.4 assists, 0.6 steals, 0.6 blocks, 0.6 three-pointers and 0.4 turnovers in 13.4 minutes per game.

  • Jeff Green
    SF, Free Agent

Jeff Green, who was waived by the Jazz on Monday, is now an unrestricted free agent after clearing waivers on Thursday.

Green was producing per-game fantasy value just inside the top 300 while playing for the Jazz and isn't a candidate to watch except for 30-team leagues.

  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Free Agent

The Nets have reportedly filed for a disabled player exception in the wake of David Nwaba's (torn achillies) injury, and if approved, could look at re-signing Iman Shumpert according to Shams Charania and Alex Schiffer of The Athletic.

Shumpert has already played for the Nets this year, and provides similar defensive prowess that Nwaba did before going down. He is not expected to hold any fantasy value should this reunion come to fruition.

  • Stanton Kidd
    PF, Free Agent

Stanton Kidd has signed with Australia's Melbourne United of the NBL.

Kidd was undrafted in 2015 and was an overseas journeyman until he made his NBA debut this season for the Jazz. He earned a roster spot after a strong Summer League and appeared in four games, playing 3.8 minutes per until he was eventually waived a month ago.

  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Free Agent

The Nets have waived Iman Shumpert on Thursday.

This move comes at a time when Wilson Chandler is expected back from his 25-game suspension. Shumpert is a free agent for now but there is a possibility that he ends up on another team at some point this season. He is off the fantasy radar.

  • Andrew Bogut
    C, Free Agent

Andrew Bogut said that he is open to returning to the NBA later this season if the right opportunity shows up.

Bogut played in Australia last year and then joined the Warriors for the end of the regular season and the playoffs. "An opportunity to try and win a championship will be the main thing in the NBA. But I wouldn't go back to the NBA just to play in the NBA, it's more about trying to win a title and somewhere where I feel comfortable for the family”, said the veteran big. The buyout market and potential injuries will determine a lot, but it seems unlikely that we see Bogut return to the NBA any time soon.

  • Jamal Crawford
    SG, Free Agent

Veteran guard Jamal Crawford is 39 years old and remains without a team, but the Sixers could be interested in signing him, according to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Sixers are off to a great start but they seem to lack a scoring punch off the bench. Crawford is not quite the 3-point specialist like the Sixers had the past two seasons in JJ Redick, but he has a knack for making big shots. He did average 35.3 points, 6.0 assists and 3.6 rebounds while shooting 52 percent in the last three games of the season last year, but he wasn’t able to earn a training camp invite. In order to acquire Crawford, the Sixers would have to waive or trade a player to make room on the roster, so it seems unlikely that a move is imminent.

  • Kenneth Faried
    PF, Free Agent

Free agent forward Kenneth Faried turned down a contract offer of $2 million from Gungsha of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.

Faried hasn’t generated much interest from the NBA, but he may still be seeking more money on order to head overseas. The Manimal finished the year with the Rockets last season and he actually played fairly well, averaging 12.9 points and 8.2 rebounds in 25 appearances.

  • Cameron Payne
    PG, Free Agent

The Raptors reportedly waived Cameron Payne and Devin Robinson.

This transaction gets the Raptors roster to 15 players. Cameron Payne has always had an interesting statistical profile for fantasy, but he just can't string good games together when they actually count. Maybe he gets another shot, but the former lottery pick is running out of chances.

  • Jared Cunningham
    SG, Golden State Warriors

The Warriors signed Jared Cunningham and Nick Zeisloft.

There are no fantasy implications here and these two may not find themselves on the roster for too long.

  • Stephan Hicks
    G, Free Agent

The Pacers waived Stephan Hicks on Saturday, two days after signing him to an Exhibit 10 deal.

Life comes at you fast. The Pacers have rounded out their roster and are keeping two players on two-way contracts. Hicks is off the fantasy radar.

  • Alfonzo McKinnie
    SF, Free Agent

The Cavaliers have reportedly discussed the possibility of signing Alfonzo McKinnie off of waivers.

McKinnie was just let go by the Cavs to make room for Marquese Chriss. Currently, the Cavs have Cedi Osman at the three with no direct backup at the position. Cleveland would be an ideal landing spot for McKinnie to re-establish himself as an NBA player, but the presence of high usage players in the backcourt as well as John Beilein's focus on player development are two factors working against him. Even if he's ultimately signed, he's off the fantasy radar.

  • Tyler Cook
    PF, Free Agent

After getting waived by the Nuggets, Tyler Cook was claimed off waivers by the Cavs, where he will remain on his two-way contract.

Good for Tyler Cook, although this will not change his fantasy relevance. It is still safe to ignore him.

  • Keljin Blevins
    SF, Free Agent

On Friday, the Blazers President of Basketball Operations Neil Olshey, announced the waiving of Keljin Blevins, Troy Caupain and London Perrantes.

The team had already used their two two-way contracts, and with the regular season approaching Blazers management had some tough decisions to make. As the Blazers have no G League affiliate to land on, we'll have to see if Blevins, Caupain and Perrantes pop up on another G League roster or elsewhere down the line.
