  • Joakim Noah
    C, Free Agent

The scheduled workout between Joakim Noah and the Los Angeles Clippers has been called off according to Sean Devenney of Heavy.com

The report from Deveney includes that there is a possibility for the two sides to reschedule for another time, but that doesn't appear to be imminent at the moment. Noah showed that he is capable of playing good defense for small stretches last year in Memphis. He could still show up on someone's training camp roster, but even if he does land somehere he won't be a fantasy option.

  • Carmelo Anthony
    PF, Free Agent

As of right now, the Nets are "very unlikely" to sign Carmelo Anthony, according to a report from Shams Charania.

Brooklyn is more likely to sign players that they have worked out recently, with Charania naming Lance Thomas and C.J. Williams as possibilities. At least more people can complain about Melo being unsigned now.

According to Ian Begley, several Nets players are pushing for the team to sign Carmelo Anthony but it's unknown whether the front office will go forward.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have already been reported as being among Anthony's supporters. Still, Melo could end up with a team other than the Nets or nowhere at all in the NBA. He averaged 13.4 points and 5.4 rebounds before the Rockets parted ways with him last November.

  • Iman Shumpert
    SG, Free Agent

Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Iman Shumpert has decided to decline the contract offer from the Rockets and will not attend team minicamp in Las Vegas this week.

It'll be back to the drawing board for Shumpert. It's unsure exactly where he'll end up now, or if he and the Rockets will come to a new agreement in the future. Shump can get steals and threes, but otherwise isn't much of a fantasy asset, unless he finds himself in an ideal situation.

  • Michael Beasley
    PF, Free Agent

The Shanxi Loongs of the Chinese Basketball Association are trying to bring Michael Beasley back to China.

Beasley agreed to terms with the Pistons last month but he never officially signed with them as the team opted to go with Joe Johnson instead. Beasley has already played in China with Shanghai, Shandong and last year with Guangdong averaging 22.4 points, 9.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists.

  • Hasheem Thabeet
    C, Free Agent

Hasheem Thabeet will work out for the Knicks this week, marking at least his second session with the team.

Thabeet had previously been participating in informal scrimmages with the team. The frontcourt depth chart is fairly full but Thabeet could earn a look in training camp. There won't be any fantasy value if he does complete his NBA comeback.

  • Michael Beasley

The Pistons have waived Michael Beasley on Thursday following the signing of Joe Johnson.

Beasley's fate was sealed when the Pistons reached an agreement with Johnson a short while ago. Beasley will look to latch on elsewhere, though his five-game suspension for violating the league's anti-drug policy could pose an issue.

  • Joe Johnson
    F, Free Agent

Appearing on SiriusXM NBA Frank Isola of The Athletic said he hears that the Pistons are in the lead for Joe Johnson's services.

Iso Joe wasn't in the league at all last year but showed he still has some left in the tank after winning the BIG3 MVP. While the 38-year old would bring some needed outside shooting to the Pistons, it's hard to see him having a meaningful impact in fantasy. Johnson's arrival would put a slight dent into the value of Bruce Brown Jr.

  • Malcolm Delaney
    PG, Free Agent

The Warriors invited Malcolm Delaney, Jodie Meeks, Arron Afflalo and DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell in for workouts on Tuesday.

The Warriors currently have 13 players under contract, along with Alfonzo McKinnie who is expected to start the season at SF, so they are doing their due diligence for the final contract. Delaney, who averaged over 19 points, six rebounds and five assists in China last year, recently worked out for the Knicks two weeks back.

  • Salah Mejri
    C, Free Agent

Former Mavs center Salah Mejri has signed a one-month contract with the Liaoning Flying Leopards of the Chinese Basketball Association, according to Emiliano Carchia of Sportando.

Mejri will temporarily replace the injured Brandon Bass in the East Asia Superleague that begins on September 17th. The center impressed in the FIBA World Cup averaging a double-double with 16.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and a tournament high 3.2 blocks in five games with Tunisia.

  • Jared Cunningham
    SG, Free Agent

Jared Cunningham is among a group of veterans scheduled to work out for the Warriors on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old Cunningham has not played in the NBA for the last three seasons. The 2012 first-round pick never averaged more than 10 minutes per game in the league, and there's no reason to think he'll get enough of a chance to be relevant even in deep leagues if he is signed.

  • Salah Mejri
    C, Free Agent

Salah Mejri made the most of his 35 minutes during Tunisia's 86-84 victory over Angola on Sunday, putting up 18 points, eight rebounds and eight blocks.

Mejri remains a deep-league block specialist if he joins an NBA roster this season. The free agent has only helped his chances of landing on a roster with his World Cup performance. Even if he lands a contract, he is unlikely to get signficiant minutes, but when he does play you can count on a large dose of blocks.

  • Salah Mejri
    C, Free Agent

Salah Mejri scored 12 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in Tunisia's 86-67 win over the Philippines.

Mejri was an efficient 6-of-7 from the field with his only miss coming from his single three point attempt. He also added two assists and two blocks in his 22 minutes of playing time. The 33-year-old Mejri has yet to sign with an NBA team since he played for the Mavs last season.

  • Joe Johnson
    F, Free Agent

According to ESPN, Joe Johnson will continue his auditions for NBA teams as he visits the Pistons, Bucks and Nets.

The BIG3 MVP and Champion, Johnson has reportedly already worked out for the Sixers, and the Clippers, Nuggets and Pelicans are also reportedly interested. He hasn't played in the NBA since the 2017-18 season, and interest from teams doesn't always lead to a deal. However, there seems to be a chance that Johnson ends up on a contender for this coming season. He wouldn't end up in a role large enough to warrant standard league fantasy consideration though.

  • Salah Mejri
    C, Free Agent

Salah Mejri double-doubled for Tunisia as he put up 22 points, 15 rebounds, three assists, two steals, five blocks and five 3-pointers in 36 minutes on Monday.

Mejri, a free agent, may have gotten the attention of some NBA GMs with this one. A fantasy best-case scenario is still just as a backup, but he'll likely be a third-string guy if anything. He won't be relevant in standard leagues even if he gets another NBA contract.
