  • George Hill - G - Cleveland Cavaliers

George Hill (shoulder) has been downgraded from questionable to out for Friday’s game vs. the Celtics.

That means Collin Sexton will continue to start and run the show while Jordan Clarkson should get his typical empty popcorn stats off the bench.

George Hill (sprained shoulder) has been listed as questionable for Friday's contest with the Celtics.

Hill is close to a return and almost played Wednesday night. Colin Sexton has been playing great ball as of late, but the Cavs may want to play Hill in an effort to trade him. With David Nwaba (knee) out and Kyle Korver out of town, there is a world where Sexton and Hill could both succeed, but it is likely going to be a headache until Hill is gone.

George Hill and David Nwaba will both miss the game against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Hill is getting closer to a return and there was some optimimism that he could play tonight but he will remain sidelined. Collin Sexton has been performing very well during his absence but the Cavs will probably keep showcasing Hill in their efforts to trade him. As for Nwaba, there hasn’t been a medical update for him but he is a name to absolutely keep in your radar with the Cavs looking to move Kyle Korver and J.R. Smith.

George Hill (shoulder) is uncertain for Wednesday's game against the Thunder.

Hill has only played in 10 games this season, but was inside the top-100 per game. The Cavs could very well saddle him with big minutes once he is healthy, but they are better off giving those minutes to Collin Sexton. It's best to take a wait and see approach with Hill once he is healthy or add him as a flier in case he gets his old role back.

George Hill (sprained shoulder) will not play on Monday.

Initially expected to be out for two weeks, Hill hasn't played since November 5. The Cavs haven't given us any updates on his condition, and previous reports that he's been doing some on-court work haven't led to anything as far as a return goes. Don't expect him to take the starting job back from Collin Sexton when he's ready to play, either.

George Hill (sprained shoulder) is not expected to play on Friday against the Sixers.

Hill is listed as out and we haven't got a real update in a while. As long as he is out Collin Sexton retains must-own status, but we'll all be watching to see if he can hold Hill off.

  • George Hill - G - Cleveland Cavaliers

It was reported on Thursday that George Hill is out for two weeks with a shoulder injury.

Hill has been reasonably useful for fantasy purposes as a top-100 fantasy option thus far but the Cavaliers as a unit have been such a trainwreck that it hasn't gotten much attention. The Cavs box scores will continue to be a sight for sore eyes without Hill and Kevin Love. Collin Sexton seems like the obvious beneficiary, but he has some growth to go through as well before he is an important asset.

George Hill (left shoulder soreness) is out for Wednesday's contest.

Hill is a late scratch after not being on the injury report. Collin Sexton will start in his place and is in for a high volume game. Hill has an injury history, but played over 30 minutes in the first game with interim coach Larry Drew.

George Hill made his newly minted coach proud on Monday against the Magic with a season-high 22 points, four steals, two triples, six assists and four boards in the 100-102 loss.

Larry Drew signed on to coach the Cavaliers for the rest of the season today so we can finally start to get a feel for his rotations now that he has some guarantees. Hill's previous high this year was 17 points and tonight was his first night with over 30 minutes since the season opener.

  • George Hill - G - Cleveland Cavaliers

George Hill and Collin Sexton each scored 17 points in Tuesday night's home win.

Hill added two rebounds, three assists and a steal on 6-of-8 from the floor in just 20 minutes while Sexton added eight rebounds, three assists, a block and a 3-pointer on 4-of-10 from the floor in 28 minutes. Neither player is must-own in 12-team leagues but Hill is the guy for immediate production while Sexton is the better season-long play.

  • George Hill - G - Cleveland Cavaliers

George Hill hit 5-of-11 shots on Saturday night, finishing a loss to the Pacers with 14 points, two assists, two steals and a 3-pointer.

Hill played 29 minutes and still has some separation on rookie Collin Sexton, who went 2-of-8 from the floor to finish with 12 points, four assists and a steal in 23 minutes. Neither player needs to be owned in 12-team formats but Hill is obviously the play. Sexton's stat set needs a lot of work before he can be a serious consideration in standard leagues.

  • George Hill - G - Cleveland Cavaliers

George Hill only had seven points on eight shots in a bad loss to the Nets on Wednesday.

Hill shot 3-of-8 from the field and only added three rebounds to the box score. The fact that he had zero assists as the point guard is alarming, but Hill should be fine and supply late-round value as long as he is the starter.

  • George Hill - G - Cleveland Cavaliers

George Hill had his shot working against the Hawks, going 7-of-9 from the field for 16 points in Sunday's loss.

Hill also posted two threes, three assists and a steal in 28 minutes. He's been alternating between decent and invisible so far this season and will grind out late-round value as long as he starts, even if the journey isn't particularly enjoyable.

  • George Hill - G - Cleveland Cavaliers

George Hill took just seven shots and ended his night with seven points (no triples), two assists and a rebound in Friday’s loss to the Wolves.

Hill looked very passive tonight and this replicates what he saw from him last year in Cleveland. He’s a risky play in standard leagues due to his inconsistency but will probably play just enough to be a tease – see his plus-7 to Collin Sexton’s minus-15 for the night. For his part, Sexton put up 14 points (no 3s) and Jordan Clarkson also got 19 (no 3s), a steal and a block and could be carving out a solid bench role good enough for 14 or 16-team leagues.
