After two years in which he struggled to return to his old form, Gordon Hayward looked fresh and healthy averaging 17.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.6 triples and 0.8 steals while shooting .502/.392/.847 and returning 51/44 value in 8/9-cat scoring formats.
The versatile forward had a tremendous start to the season before missing a few games with a left foot injury that is reportedly still bothering him. Regardless, he still managed to play 33.4 minutes in 45 games and he should continue to be the wild card for a Celtics team that is looking to make some noise in Orlando next month. Hayward can opt out of the max contract that he signed with the Celtics a few years ago and it will be interesting to see if he feels like testing the open market.

Both Gordon Hayward and Vincent Poirier plan to leave the NBA bubble in September, when their respective partners are set to give birth.
Both are expected to be given permission to leave the bubble and will be able to return after a four-day quarantine. If the league's plans play out, September will be right in the thick of the playoffs, so it's unfortunate timing for the team even though it's the right decision for Hayward. It's something to keep in mind if you're planning to play fantasy games through the postseason.

Gordon Hayward notched a double-double in the Celtics' defeat of the Pacers on Tuesday, finishing with 27 points (3-of-7 3PT), 10 rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in 36 minutes, which led the Celtics.
Hayward has now shot the ball well in the two games he has played since returning from a mini two-game absence. On Sunday, he went 9-for-19 and finished Tuesday at 10-for-19 from the floor. He has reached top-50 value over the past two months and on the season, as he has really turned it on as of late. Of course, injuries are always looming with Hayward so fantasy owners won't ever feel safe with him deployed in their lineups.

Gordon Hayward put up 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting in a 105-104 loss to the Thunder on Sunday.
Hayward returned from a right knee contusion and took control of the offense for much of the game. He added five rebounds, four assists, four triples, one steal and two blocks in 38 minutes of action. He remains a top-50 option for the rest of the season.

Gordon Hayward (right knee contusion) will return from a two-game absence on Sunday.
Even better, Hayward won't have a minutes restriction, though you can still bet that the Celtics will try and prevent him from logging huge minutes today. Get Hayward into all lineups today, and expect Boston's other main offensive threats to sacrifice a few shots — not enough to seriously downgrade their fantasy outlooks.

Gordon Hayward (right knee contusion) is probable to play on Saturday.
Hayward has missed the previous two games after leaving Tuesday's contest with the injury, but luckily it looks like he's about ready to get back on the floor. He'll have a few extra touches headed his way with Jaylen Brown still sidelined, and you can feel free to get GH into all your lineups.

Gordon Hayward (right knee contusion) has been ruled out ahead of Friday's matchup vs. the Jazz.
Hayward will miss his second consecutive game on Friday but his outlook looks slightly better than his teammate, Jaylen Brown (hamstring). Hayward is considered day-to-day while Brown has been ruled out until at least next Thursday. Marcus Smart, Grant Williams and Semi Ojeleye should continue to see additional opportunity on Friday with Hayward and Brown sidelined.

Gordon Hayward (right knee contusion) is considered unlikely to play on Friday against the Jazz.
While Hayward was able to do a little on-court work on Thursday, Brad Stevens isn't expecting him to be available for tomorrow. With Hayward and Jaylen Brown out, we'll see more Jayson Tatum and Marcus Smart. Among the other Celtics, Semi Ojeleye and Grant Williams (who started in Hayward's place on Wednesday) are in line for extra minutes but aren't necessarily pickups outside of deeper leagues.

Jayson Tatum (illness) will play in Wednesday’s game vs. the Cavs.
Tatum has been red-hot over the last two weeks and is now producing 2nd/1st round value in 8/9-cat leagues. He should see an even greater workload on Wednesday with Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker sidelined. Lock him in across formats.

Gordon Hayward (right knee contusion) was injured late in the second quarter on the Celtics' game against the Nets on Tuesday evening and is out for the remainder of the game.
It appeared as though Celtics' forward Daniel Theis landed on Hayward's shoulder with a couple minutes left in the first half. Hayward remained in the game, but he is now being ruled out for the rest of the night. More details should follow after the game. Every one of the Celtics' studs will have some slack to pick up if Hayward is forced to miss an extended period.

Gordon Hayward led the Celtics in minutes on Sunday and, despite a poor shooting day, almost notched a triple-double with 10 points on 5-of-15 shooting (0-for-5 3PT), eight rebounds and nine assists.
Hayward did not have a very good game and didn't add any defensive stats, which is not the least bit surprising. He is averaging 0.7 blocks and 0.4 steals per game this year but despite offering nothing in those respects, he maintains top-50 value in the Celtics vibrant offense.

Gordon Hayward had 29 points (12-of-17 FG), six assists and five rebounds in Friday's win over the Wolves.
Hayward had an extremely efficient outing in this one, going 2-for-4 from beyond the arc and shot 71% from the floor. Kemba Walker was out so Hayward saw more offensive chances on Friday. He may be the player on the Celtics who benefits the most from Walker's absence but is still a solid contributor with Walker on the floor.

Gordon Hayward struggled with his shot on Thursday, shooting just 6-of-21 from the field but still managed 21 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and three 3-pointers in a win over the Clippers.
It was an uncharacteristic off night shooting for Hayward, but he managed to rescue it with a good overall stat-line elsewhere which even included two defensive counters. He should be a solid top-50 asset who does everything well outside of the defensive categories.

Brian Robb of the Boston Sports Journal is reporting that the Celtics intend to keep Gordon Hayward, whether or not he elects to pick up his $34.1 million player option this summer.
Hayward will be eligible to earn up to $40.25 million per year on a max contract as a 10-year veteran in his next deal if he declines his player option this summer. After injuries slowed him down early on, Hayward is playing some of the best basketball of his career this season, posting career-highs in rebounding and efficiency, while sacrificing some of his shots within a loaded starting unit. Based on that, it’s still possible that he could command another hefty long-term deal on the open market this summer, but the list of potential suitors changed dramatically last week after the trade deadline. The 29-year-old veteran is returning top-50 value and the hope is that he remains healthy for the rest of the season.
