Harry Giles is once again being listed as questionable heading into Wednesday's game against the Raptors.

He hasn’t played at all this season while there hasn’t been any update about his progress. Giles should be left on the waiver wire until he proves he is healthy and ready to contribute.

Harry Giles (left knee) will not play against the Knicks on Sunday.

No surprises here, and it's a bit strange that the Kings continue to list Giles as questionable when it doesn't look like he's all that close to returning.

Harry Giles is questionable to play against the Knicks on Sunday with recurring knee soreness in his left knee.

Giles has yet to make his debut this season and the Kings recently threw in the towel on him by declining his team option. His time is running out, but he has an opportunity to carve out a role in the absence of Marvin Bagley. Richaun Holmes has run away with the starting job, but Dewayne Dedmon looks absolutely dreadful behind him. Still, Giles is miles away from fantasy relevance and is slowly, but surely looking like a fade even in dynasty leagues. His knees may never get right.

Harry Giles (left knee soreness) is questionable for Friday's matchup with the Jazz.

Giles has been listed as questionable for a few games now but hasn't seemed all that close to returning after appearing at practice last week. When he does get back on the floor, Giles might have a bee in his bonnet after the Kings opted not to pick up his fourth-year option yesterday. There is great potential but fantasy managers need to see Giles stay healthy and get regular minutes before considering him outside the deepest of leagues.

The Kings did not pick up the fourth-year options on Harry Giles and Caleb Swanigan.

The former 20th overall pick in the 2017 draft oozed potential but was never able to put it together as his career has been derailed by knee injuries. Giles missed his entire rookie season, played in 58 games last year and has failed to play so far this season. He should not be owned in any fantasy leagues at this time but hopefully he can get his body right at some point but he will have to prove that he belongs on a roster as he will now become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Swanigan was not on the fantasy radar but will now enter the 2020 offseason as an unrestricted free agent. It is worth noting that the 2020 free agency class lacks top-level talent.

Harry Giles (left knee soreness) will not suit up for Wednesday's tilt against the Hornets.

The Kings will opt to stay cautious with Giles coming back from his left knee surgery. Richaun Holmes and Dewayne Dedmon will hold down the center minutes moving forward.

Harry Giles (left knee soreness) is being listed as questionable for Wednesday's matchup against the Hornets.

Giles is coming off a surgically repaired knee, so the Kings are being every bit of cautious with his return. He has taken part in 5-on-5, so it's only a matter of time before he sees real game action. With Marvin Bagley out at least a month, Giles does have a path to playing time, but he likely won't be on the fantasy radar outside of deeper leagues.

Harry Giles (left knee soreness) will not play on Monday, though he did play some 5-on-5 after practice.

Giles continues to get closer to a return, which should capture your attention in deeper leagues. It'll be an uphill climb for minutes but Giles does have the backing of the organization and there's an opening with Marvin Bagley's injury, so a legitimate role isn't off the board when he gets healthy.

Harry Giles (knee soreness) is being listed as questionable for Mondays game versus the Nuggets.

Giles missed Saturday's game, but has been practicing and making progress. Injuries have plagued Giles throughout his basketball career and until he can play consistent minutes isn't worth owning in fantasy.

Harry Giles (left knee soreness) is doubtful to play against the Jazz on Friday.

Giles has been participating in practice but the Kings are being cautious with the surgically repaired knee. He could find himself in the rotation upon return with Marvin Bagley out for at least a month but it probably won't be for enough minutes to garner fantasy attention.

Harry Giles (sore left knee) participated in practice on Thursday and head coach Luke Walton said that "he's making progress" although he has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Blazers.

Giles has had a history of injuries and has been dealing with soreness in his surgically repaired left knee. With the news of Marvin Bagley missing the next four to six weeks with a thumb fracture, Giles could find himself some opportunity if he is able to get healthy. Consider him out for Friday and continue to monitor his status as he is getting closer to game action.

  • Marvin Bagley III
    PF, Sacramento Kings

Marvin Bagley suffered a non-displaced fracture in his right thumb and will be sidelined for 4-6 weeks as a result.

Bagley might have injured himself during Wednesday's blowout the Kings suffered at the hands of the Suns. With Bagley sidelined, Dewayne Dedmon and Richaun Holmes will have more opportunity in the frontcourt while Harry Giles (sore left knee) could have opportunity if he is able to return from injury.

Harry Giles (sore right knee) is listed as inactive against the Suns for Wednesday's season opener.

Giles is a talented young big man but is currently stuck in a logjam when he does return. He should be left on waivers, but with a keen eye if something were to happen to the players around him.

Harry Giles (sore left knee) was able to take part in the non-contact portion of practice on Monday.

Giles still has not had a full practice, but this is a step forward for him. He is still unlikely to begin the regular season on the court. With Dewayne Dedmon and Marvin Bagley III expected to start, Giles does not have significant fantasy value right now.

Harry Giles (sore left knee) has still not been cleared for practice.

Giles has missed all of the preseason due to a sore left knee. It seems very likely that he will miss time to start the season. Giles is not someone to target in any redraft leagues this year as it is unclear how much time he will miss and even if he does return soon, his role is very unclear in a very deep frontcourt.
