Harry Giles struggled in Saturday's loss to the Sixers, scoring four points on 1-of-4 shooting with six rebounds and one assist in 15 minutes off the bench.

The game is still moving very fast for Giles so for every versatile highlight play there are two rookie mistakes, and his inability to get vertical was also on display in this game. Make no mistake, he has a lot of upside if he can keep rounding out his game, but it's going to be a heavy lift to see benefits this season.

Harry Giles made the most of his 21 minutes on Wednesday as he had a career-high 20 points with seven rebounds on 10-of-12 shooting in a blowout win over the Hawks.

Giles has late-round upside if he is given enough minutes, but he has been outside the top-300 on the season and this could have been a fluke performance. He would need to go on a hot streak similar to Jahlil Okafor's play this week to be considered a must-add, but keep an eye on his minutes and play going forward.

Harry Giles scored 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting (3-of-6 FTs) with four rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 23 minutes off the bench against the Raptors on Tuesday.

Giles has struggled more than you'd know following the local coverage, but the team is forcing him minutes right now and it could be that way the rest of the year. Something like 25-30 mpg down the stretch should be the upside bar you set, and you're hoping he can not be terrible at the foul line, keep the turnovers in a manageable place and otherwise stay in the middle of the action. The downside is that Joerger has the green light to sit him and mistakes force him off the floor.

Harry Giles scored four points on 2-of-3 shooting with five rebounds, three assists and one block in 17 minutes off the bench in Saturday's win over the Hornets.

Giles did well to be impactful and productive in the minutes he got, but there isn't nearly enough meat to the bone right now to call him anything but a luxury stash, and even then we're not sure what his path to big minutes is even if injuries strike. His stat set has potential so the goal should be that he can be productive in a 20-25 mpg role, and we're not sure that's coming any time soon, with the ROI being something in the top-100 range if he gets there.

Harry Giles scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting with four rebounds, three assists, two steals and three blocks on Thursday.

Giles has all the tools to be a fantasy force, but every game is a new story with him as he's still figuring out how to be consistent. He's made great progress since a knee injury kept him out of his rookie season but the Kings are a bit flooded at forward which makes it hard to trust him outside of deep leagues.

Harry Giles came off the bench for six points, five rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes on Thursday.

Giles went 3-for-8 in 19 minutes on the floor and showcased some nice passing ability and vision tonight. He's clearly not quite where the team would've hoped at this point in the season but tonight he was able to flash some of the potential that drove all the local hype this offseason. Giles did outplay Kosta Koufos tonight, so deep-leaguers can keep an eye on him to see if that keeps up.

The Kings dusted off Harry Giles in Tuesday's overtime loss to the Blazers, as he scored six points on 3-of-5 shooting with seven rebounds, one steal and one block in 13 minutes.

To the point, Giles turned the game with his energy and also by the fact that he's simply not as detrimental to the team's play as Kosta Koufos is right now. But oh boy is he an adventure, as he's liable to forget who he is covering, foul somebody or throw the ball into the fifth row. If he can get minutes, and that doesn't seem likely under Dave Joerger, then he can put up numbers quickly. To be clear there's no real fantasy value here for the foreseeable future.

The Kings have sent Harry Giles to the G-League for more reps.

It’s a bit curious that Giles is getting sent down despite announcing Marvin Bagley (knee) will miss two more weeks of action. The Kings are currently tied with the Spurs for the last playoff spot in the Western Conference so are likely more focused on their rank in the standings. Nemanja Bjelica and Willie Cauley-Stein will continue to get heavy run with Kosta Koufos and Justin Jackson there to soak up any minutes that are left.

The Kings have assigned Harry Giles and Troy Williams to the G-League.

While the Williams assignment is a case of bad timing with the Kings ruling out both Iman Shumpert and Bogdan Bogdanovic this afternoon, the Giles move is a little more curious with Marvin Bagley's absence opening up time in the frontcourt. He's off the fantasy radar for now, and hopefully you didn't buy all the local hype this offseason.

Harry Giles benefitted from the Kings getting shellacked on Sunday 112-133 by the Jazz, playing 20 minutes to deliver 10 points, eight boards, six assists, four steals and two blocks.

Giles has talent but tonight’s line was delivered with the game out of reach and the defense lagging on both ends. With Marvin Bagley¬†(18 points, six boards, two blocks) pushing for a starting role Giles could luck into more minutes, but is off the radar right now outside of 200 player leagues.
