Hassan Whiteside had a big night on Friday as the Blazers held off the Lakers for the win, going 13-of-14 from the field for 30 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and five blocks in 34 minutes.

Whiteside made just 4-of-6 shots from the line, but did not turn the ball over at all. He also blocked a key LeBron James shot in the paint at a key juncture of the dying minutes of the game. He's been a perfect fit for the Blazers and is cruising to the best season of his career.

Hassan Whiteside was fantastic on Wednesday night, not only collecting another double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, but also blocking five shots on the defensive end.

Whiteside has been a top-10 player in 9-cat leagues and doesn't look to be slowing down. The only thing that could throw a wrench in this fairy-tale season for the big man is a trade. Jusuf Nurkic will return at some point, but until then keep firing up Whiteside in your starting lineups.

The Blazers will entertain offers for center Hassan Whiteside and chances of him being dealt are at 50/50, according to Jason Quick of The Athletic.

Whiteside is averaging 15.6 points (on 59.8 percent shooting), 14.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and a league-leading 3.0 blocks this season but that doesn’t make him untouchable. Big man Jusuf Nurkic is recovering and making positive strides from a devastating leg injury last season and there has been speculation that he could be back after the All-Star Game in February. Whiteside might turn out to be surplus to requirements upon Nurkic’s return, which makes selling high now a pretty attractive option.

Hassan Whiteside was fantastic vs. the Pacers on Sunday, registering 21 points (9-of-11 FG), 14 rebounds and six blocks.

This was a high scoring affair, and it will be interesting to see if Whiteside can continue averaging 15 points a game alongside a fully healthy roster now that C.J. McCollum returned to the lineup. Either way, Whiteside is indispensable as long as Jusuf Nurkic (leg) remains out. Until Nurkic is back in action Whiteside is going to keep beasting with early-round value.

Hassan Whiteside had some foul trouble (5) on Thursday, but still managed to play 33 minutes, tallying 14 pointson 6-of-8 shooting to go with 10 boards and a block.

Whiteside couldn't really keep up with the Mavs tonight, which led to his poor stat line. He's the No. 7 player in 9-cat leagues so we'll give him some leash considering the Mavs are the No. 1 offense in the NBA. Even with Jusuf Nurkic (leg) resuming practice, as long as Whiteside stays in Portland, he should maintain early-round value.

Hassan Whiteside (groin contusion) is being listed as probable to play on Thursday against the Mavs.

There doesn't seem to be anything here. Continue to fire up the big man in all leagues as he has simply been a beast in fantasy this season.

Hassan Whiteside had a monster night on Monday, dropping 17 points with 21 boards to go with two assists and six blocks.

Whiteside briefly left the game with a quad injury, but returned to the game. It looks like we've avoided any major scare as Whiteside logged 43 minutes and closed this one out. He was crucial in securing defensive rebounds and hit two clutch free throws to help seal the victory for the Blazers.

In an article exploring their most recent trade, John Hollinger of The Athletic made note that the Blazers are now capable of combining Hassan Whiteside's contract with one of the minimum contracts on their roster to fully get under the luxury tax threshold.

This matters only because the entire point of yesterday's trade from Portland's side seemed to be an effort to reduce their tax burden and the potential for the dreaded 'repeater tax'. If their new MO is to work towards alleviating that completely, trading Whiteside's giant contract could now accomplish that in one fell swoop. To be clear, there is no official rumor to indicate that he is on the block, but if we are to believe this is the direction that Portland would like to take with this season it's worth keeping a side-eye on.

Hassan Whiteside kept on rolling in Friday's loss, notching 21 points, 18 rebounds, five blocks and a 9-for-10 shooting line.

Whiteside is stuck on automatic and figures to remain that way until Jusuf Nurkic returns. He's been a huge steal for fantasy GMs this season and while we'd bet on him slowing down over the last couple of months, you're free to ride this wave to its completion considering his ADP.

Hassan Whiteside found himself with another double-double at the end of Wednesday night's game, ending with 18 points, 18 rebounds and two blocks.

Whiteside continues to be a first-round value. The opportunity in Portland couldn't cater to his strengths better and he has been a steal for owners grabbing him in the later rounds of the draft.

Hassan Whiteside was limited on offense on Monday, scoring seven points on 2-of-6 shooting in 24 minutes, but was able to grab 11 boards and block three shots.

Whiteside struggled on offense tonight, but he was still able to deliver the rebounds and blocks almost at his average rate. He's been too good to worry about.

Hassan Whiteside (illness) will play against the Hornets on Monday.

Whiteside missed Saturday's game with the illness, but he's apparently ready to roll tonight. Anthony Tolliver will return to the bench.

Hassan Whiteside (illness) is probable for Monday's game.

Whiteside missed Saturday's game with the same illness, but it shouldn't hold him out of action for much longer.

Hassan Whiteside (illness) is listed as questionable for Saturday vs. the Bucks.

Whiteside has been dealing with the illness for the better part of the past week, but it bears mentioning that he was questionable coming into Thursday's game and he managed to suit up for that one. You'll need to monitor the feed before tipoff. If we had to guess, he's closer to 60-40 to play in this one than an even split. If he doesn't play, the Blazers have no true center to replace him.

Hassan Whiteside scored 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting to go with 14 rebounds, two blocks and a 3-pointer in Thursday's 102-116 loss to the Wolves.

Whiteside is as close to a lock to produce on a nightly basis. It's the perfect situation for him and as long as he's playing for the Blazers with Jusuf Nurkic (leg) out, he should put up top-10 numbers whenever he steps on the floor.
