Hassan Whiteside (illness) will play against the Wolves on Thursday.

Whiteside was unable to participate in shootaround earlier in the day but appears to be healthy enough to play in Thursday's game. It might be wise to steer clear of him when setting DFS lineups but he should be locked in as a starter across all formats.

Hassan Whiteside (illness) is officially questionable for Thursday's game.

Whiteside missed shootaround to go to a doctor but the Blazers didn't give him an official status at that point. Him being questionable shouldn't come as a surprise.

Hassan Whiteside (illness) was unable to participate in Thursday's shootaround and his status for Thursday's game has yet to be determined.

If Whiteside sits it'll be a real ragtag group at center for the Blazers. Anthony Tolliver probably gets a shot as a small-ball five, and if two-way player Moses Brown is with the team he'll be the last true center left. We'll have another update for you closer to tip.

Hassan Whiteside had a solid fantasy game on Tuesday, posting 14 points, 16 rebounds, four assists and seven blocks.

Whiteside's box scores have been fantastic but he was pretty dreadful in this game for the actual Blazers. He left swaths of space open by refusing to leave the paint, failed to contest wide-open shooters, got blown by repeatedly and was bailed out by two blown calls, one which led to the game-tying bucket off his illegal screen and another that led to a jump ball (which he lost to Rondae Hollis-Jefferson anyway). There may not be a wider gulf between fantasy and reality production in the league, but Whiteside's an early-round beast in the numbers game.

Hassan Whiteside rewarded his fantasy owners handsomely in his return to Miami to face the Heat on Sunday, totaling 21 points (9-of-12 FG), 18 rebounds, two blocks and one turnover.

Whiteside continues to dominate from a fantasy perspective, but the Heat got the last laugh with the victory. You will never be able to get Whiteside's early-round value back in a trade at this point, so it makes sense to assess your situation and see how valuable a piece he is to your championship picture.

    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside predictably steamrolled the Wizards on Friday, racking up 23 points (8-for-14 FG, 7-for-8 FT), 21 rebounds and five blocks.

Whiteside's been putting up numbers all year long, so him taking advantage of this cake matchup is no surprise. There are questions about his long-term value given his on-court limitations and the eventual return of Jusuf Nurkic, so a sell-high move is probably the play in general, but to this point the big man has been thrashing his ADP and should have at least another month of unlimited production.

Hassan Whiteside continued to put in work in Wednesday's loss to the Knicks, finishing with 17 points, 12 rebounds, two steals and three blocks in 33 minutes.

Whiteside continues to produce at a first-round level on the season, and as long as his newfound touch at the free throw line sticks around that could continue the rest of the year. He did miss a couple tonight, but on the whole you can't complain with what he's provided to fantasy teams this season.

Hassan Whiteside feasted in a matchup against the Suns on Monday and put up 16 points (7-of-13 shooting), 22 rebounds, three assists and three blocks in 37 minutes.

His monster line was all for naught as the Blazers couldn't really keep up with the Suns' pace in this one. From a fantasy standpoint though, this is a swell way for Whiteside to end 2019 on a high note.

  • Damian Lillard
    PG, Portland Trail Blazers

Damian Lillard led the charge, as always, in Saturday's loss to the Lakers, posting 31 points (7-for-17 FG, 13-for-14 FT), nine assists, a steal, a block and four 3-pointers.

Lillard and Hassan Whiteside (19 points, 16 rebounds, four blocks) are Portland's representatives among fantasy's elite producers and that should stick for the foreseeable future. Whiteside owners might want to think long-term and plan around the eventual return of Jusuf Nurkic but until then let the good times roll.

    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside got stifled by Rudy Gobert on Thursday and was limited to eight points (3-of-5 shooting), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 22 minutes.

Whiteside didn't take well to the Rudy Gober Experience and wilted under the pressure of a more talented big. We're not worried as Whiteside should bounce back in the next one.

  • Skal Labissiere
    PF, Portland Trail Blazers

Skal Labissiere posted eight points on 4-of-7 shooting with five rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 19 minutes.

Labissiere has blocked two shots in three straight games now. That's a stream-worthy trend. He's still a low-end option, especially while Hassan Whiteside (11 points, 16 rebounds, one steal, four blocks) is healthy.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside took full advantage of the absence of Karl-Anthony Towns (left knee sprain) and proceeded to bully the Wolves with 16 points (6-of-9 shooting), 22 rebounds, two assists, one steal and seven blocks.

Whiteside has been blazing through a new path to fantasy-relevance since moving to Portland and has been a steady top-30 guy in 8/9-cat this season. He's a rock-solid play in the immediate horizon with the only risk being the possible return of Jusuf Nurkic at some point in the season.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside had 10 points (3-for-9 shooting), 17 rebounds, five blocks and an assist in Friday's win over the Magic.

The monster rebound and block totals helped cover up the poor shooting for Whiteside tonight. He's been very productive as the Blazer's starting center this season and with Jusuf Nurkic still injured he should remain a starting option, though some regression wouldn't be surprising.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside had a field day in Wednesday's win over the Warriors, putting up 16 points (8-for-14 shooting), 23 rebounds and two blocks.

The Warriors have only Willie Cauley-Stein as a serious threat up front and Whiteside predictably ran roughshod. He's now returning second-round value on the year and is a top-5 player over the last two weeks (!!), so a sell-high seems in order. There will definitely be some steps back when Jusuf Nurkic returns, and although Whiteside should have another couple months of strong production this is undoubtedly his peak. You don't have to make a deal, but it's at least worth seeing what the market looks like.

  • Hassan Whiteside
    C, Portland Trail Blazers

Hassan Whiteside had another strong game on Monday, scoring 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting with 14 rebounds, one steal and three blocks.

Whiteside's limiting factor is free throws and he's been hot there lately. Tonight he attempted zero shots at the foul line and had another flawless game because of it.
