Thomas Bryant got worked over by Joel Embiid, but deserves our patience.

The Wizards have signed center Anzejs Pasecniks to an Exhibit 10 deal.
It's likely that Pasecniks will end up in the G League. However, with Ian Mahinmi injured it makes sense for the Wizards to add some depth.

Isaac Bonga (left knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's preseason matchup vs. the Guangzhou Long-Lions while C.J. Miles (left foot rehab), Troy Brown (left calf strain), Isaiah Thomas (left thumb rehab), John Wall (left Achilles rehab) and Ian Mahinmi (right Achilles strain) all remain out.
Bonga may carve out a role for the Wizards if he is able to get healthy. At this time, he needs to show something to enter the fantasy landscape.

Wizards C Ian Mahinmi (strained right Achilles) will be treated conservatively and will be re-evaluated in six weeks.
With Mahinmi for at least the first month of the season, there will be extra minutes off the bench for Mo Wagner, while Thomas Bryant will get all that he can handle in the early goings.

Ian Mahinmi dropped an 11-point, 12-rebound double-double in Tuesday's 116-110 season finale loss to the Celtics.
Mahinmi, who is in year three of a four-year, $64 million contract, was mostly irrelevant this season and will finish around top-325 in 8 and 9-cat formats.

Ian Mahinmi returned to the rotation on Sunday, posting two points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes against the Knicks.
Mahinmi last appeared in a game on February 4, and last saw 20 minutes on January 21. He might be a deep-league source of rebounds and blocks if he plays this much while Jabari Parker is out but it's not much to get excited about.

Ian Mahinmi (sore right thumb) returned to action on Tuesday against the Cavs, putting up two rebounds and one assist in 16 minutes before fouling out.
That's a Wack Fantasy line without a doubt. Mahinmi might be a Scott Brooks special this season, but there's no reason to bet on any real fantasy value.

Ian Mahinmi (sore right thumb) has been cleared to play against the Cavs on Tuesday.
Mahinmi will be available but might not see much time against a Cavs team that won't have Tristan Thompson.

Ian Mahinmi (sore right thumb) is a game-time decision on Tuesday after going through morning shootaround.
Mahinmi's biggest fantasy impact is taking minutes away from Thomas Bryant whenever Scott Brooks is in one of those moods.

Ian Mahinmi (sore right thumb) is questionable for Tuesday's game with the Cavs.
There's no fantasy impact here as Mahinmi has followed up a brief run of production with a whole lot of nothing.

Ian Mahinmi (sore right thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's game.
Mahinmi started off 2019 with a few strong games, but has recently fallen back off the fantasy radar. He's played 20 minutes or more in a game just six times this season despite his $15.9 million paycheck.

Ian Mahinmi outplayed Thomas Bryant again on Wednesday night, delivering six points, eight rebounds and five steals in 25 minutes of action.
This one was fairly predictable considering Mahinmi took the lion's share of center minutes in a matchup with these same Sixers just yesterday. That said, the steals were a really nice addition for those of you who have scooped him up in deeper formats. Thomas Bryant is still the guy to own here but you can play the matchup game a bit with Mahinmi, who has always been an intriguing per-minute producer of defensive stats.

Ian Mahinmi scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting with seven rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks in 17 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's blowout loss to the Sixers.
Mahinmi is sitting on two straight big lines and his line three games ago wasn't bad either. We've seen this in the past from him and the bigger issue is his health. The Wizards have also seen a particularly big stretch of centers for youngster Thomas Bryant to defend, including Hassan Whiteside, Steven Adams and Joel Embiid, and they get Embiid again on Wednesday in the home-and-home. Unless you're desperate for a big man, trying to get in front of this wave isn't a recommended course of action.

Ian Mahinmi (sore piriformis) will start on Friday against the Kings.
Mahinmi hasn’t done much to separate himself as the Wizards wait for Dwight Howard’s return. His return pushes Jason Smith back to the bench. Markieff Morris is still the big man to own in Washington.

Ian Mahinmi went through Friday's shootaround and is a game-time decision for the game against the Kings.
Mahinmi missed Wednesday's game with a back spasm issue. He hasn't been good despite the absence of Dwight Howard when he has been out there. Expect Jason Smith and Jeff Green to be the main players to play in his stead if he is absent on Friday.
