The Nets have reportedly filed for a disabled player exception in the wake of David Nwaba's (torn achillies) injury, and if approved, could look at re-signing Iman Shumpert according to Shams Charania and Alex Schiffer of The Athletic.

Shumpert has already played for the Nets this year, and provides similar defensive prowess that Nwaba did before going down. He is not expected to hold any fantasy value should this reunion come to fruition.

The Nets have waived Iman Shumpert on Thursday.

This move comes at a time when Wilson Chandler is expected back from his 25-game suspension. Shumpert is a free agent for now but there is a possibility that he ends up on another team at some point this season. He is off the fantasy radar.

The Nets have waived Iman Shumpert.

The Nets were reportedly reluctant to make the move considering Shumpert's solid play and the guarantees he was owed, but they needed to make a move with Wilson Chandler set to return from his suspension in the coming days. After averaging 0.9 steals in 18.5 mpg with Brooklyn, Shumpert can be considered a deep-league steals specialist if he signs elsewhere.

Iman Shumpert has been upgraded to available for Wednesday's contest vs. the Hornets.

Since signing with the Nets in early November, Shumpert has been averaging 18.8 minutes off the bench and hasn't provided value for fantasy leagues outside of perhaps 30-team leagues.

Iman Shumpert (left knee soreness) is considered questionable for Wednesday's game.

This is an upgrade, but there's still no guarantee that Shumpert can play. Expect Theo Pinson and Garrett Temple to receive more minutes than usual if he is held out. Shumpert doesn't provide much outside of steals in his limited role.

Iman Shumpert (left knee soreness) is being listed as doubtful to play against the Hornets on Wednesday.

It is looking likely that Shumpert won't play in this one. Joe Harris, Garrett Temple and Theo Pinson will likely split the majority of Shumpert's 18.8 mpg.

Iman Shumpert was able to tally four steals in Friday's win over the Hornets, also picking up four points, three rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes.

Shumpert has been averaging a surprising 18.6 mpg with the Nets but is outside the top-300 in fantasy value. He's a deep-league streaming option if you need steals as he's picked up at least one in eight of his 11 games so far.

Iman Shumpert made his debut and scored five points, along with three rebounds and a three on Saturday.

Shumpert joined the team after the news that Caris Lavert (right thumb surgery) would be out for several weeks. He is not expected to make much of a fantasy impact and does not need to be picked up.

The Nets are expected to sign free agent Iman Shumpert.

Shumpert is unlikely to have a major role, but it's worth noting that Caris LeVert has been visiting thumb specialists. In any case, the Nets had a roster spot available until mid-December when Wilson Chandler returns from suspension.

The Bulls and Grizzlies are among teams that have spoken with Iman Shumpert, per Shams Charania.

Shumpert is still one of the more notable players left on the market, though fantasy owners would probably want him to stay away from already-crowded spots in Chicago and Memphis. Wherever he signs, Shumpert is unlikely to impact the fantasy landscape.

Per Shams Charania of The Athletic, Iman Shumpert has decided to decline the contract offer from the Rockets and will not attend team minicamp in Las Vegas this week.

It'll be back to the drawing board for Shumpert. It's unsure exactly where he'll end up now, or if he and the Rockets will come to a new agreement in the future. Shump can get steals and threes, but otherwise isn't much of a fantasy asset, unless he finds himself in an ideal situation.

Iman Shumpert logged 18 minutes in Saturday's Game 3 victory, finishing with 10 points and three 3-pointers.

Shumpert looks to have leapfrogged Danuel House (DNP-CD) in the rotation and gives Houston a small upgrade defensively at the expense of some shooting. He was able to make good on his limited offensive opportunities tonight, however, and if Shumpert can continue to hit some open looks it'll be a solid boost for the Rockets.

Iman Shumpert drew into the rotation with Austin Rivers out sick on Sunday, posting three points in 21 minutes.

The Rockets didn't get much out of their supporting cast today, as Shumpert, Gerald Green and Danuel House only had three points apiece. Whether or not Rivers is healthy shouldn't determine this series but any extra help that James Harden can get will be valuable.

Iman Shumpert didn't leave the bench in Tuesday's season finale.

Shumpert joined the Rockets at the trade deadline, but has failed to really get his footing with his new team. He had a couple decent games while on the Kings, but hasn't been able to find his shooting touch in Houston. This summer he'll enter free agency, but there's not really any location he'll land at that would make him sought after in fantasy leagues. Shump finishes right around the top-200.
