Iman Shumpert (personal) will not play on Monday.

Shumpert missed Sunday's game with a hip injury and Bogdan Bogdanovic moved into the starting five, so that's what we'd expect to see tonight. Shumpert's been a late-round play for 9-cat leagues but isn't necessarily a hold while he's out, though it's not expected to be for long.

Iman Shumpert has been ruled out of Sunday's game because of a hip injury.

The Kings are also on the front leg of a back-to-back, which has generally meant a rest day for Shumpert so far this season. Justin Jackson and Yogi Ferrell will see the most extra minutes off the bench.

Iman Shumpert (hip) is a game-time decision on Sunday.

The Kings haven't been shy about giving Shumpert rest days earlier in the year so we'd expect him to sit if that trend were to continue. Justin Jackson or Bogdan Bogdanovic figure to start while Yogi Ferrell also stands to play more off the bench. Anyone besides Bogdanovic is a tough sell in fantasy.

Iman Shumpert (hip contusion) is questionable to play in Sunday's game.

Shumpert has been starting and producing late-round numbers for 9-cat players, but his absence won't affect too many fantasy leagues. His minutes figure to be split among Justin Jackson, Bogdan Bogdanovic and maybe Yogi Ferrell as well. BogBog is the only fantasy-relevant option though.

Iman Shumpert has been diagnosed with a hip contusion after a fall in Friday's game and will not return.

His minutes will be split between Bogdan Bogdanovic and Yogi Ferrell, with Bogdanovic holding the higher upside in the wake of this development.

Iman Shumpert headed to the Kings locker room with a noticeable limp in Friday's game against the Warriors.

With Shumpert going down, the onus will be on Bogdan Bogdanovic step up on both ends of the floor. Stay tuned for updates regarding Shumpert's status.

Iman Shumpert had another quality outing on Monday, scoring 14 points to go with five rebounds, four steals and four 3-pointers.

In one of the low-key surprises of the year, Shumpert continues to return late-round value for owners in 9-cat formats. More importantly, the return of Bogdan Bogdanovic has done more to hurt Nemanja Bjelica (6 & 6 in 21 minutes) than Shump (31 minutes). Feel free to keep using him as you normally would.

Iman Shumpert (rest) has been ruled out from Saturday's game against the Pacers.

This is the Kings fifth back-to-back set of the season and the fourth time that Shumpert will sit out one of those games. He has been a serviceable in standard leagues with top-110 production on the season but has dropped off a bit lately as he failed to score 10 points in each of the last four games.

Iman Shumpert played 28 minutes on Saturday night and was able to muster eight points, two triples and two steals in a win over the Pacers.

While it doesn't look like much, that's probably going to be useful for deep-league players. Shumpert will almost certainly be pulled from the starting lineup, sooner rather than later, but until then you can use him as a bottom-barrel option in deep 9-cat formats for steals and threes.

Iman Shumpert (rest) has been ruled out of Sunday’s matchup vs. the Jazz.

Shumpert has become a key piece of the Kings’ rotation and is averaging 27.6 minutes over the past two weeks. In those same two weeks he’s actually the Kings’ best fantasy player and the 45th ranked player overall. It’s the second night of a back-to-back for the Kings so resting the 28-year old guard makes sense.

Iman Shumpert scored 14 points on 4-of-7 shooting with four rebounds, one steal and four 3-pointers over 27 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Warriors.

Shumpert's role is locked in and the Kings are fine with him jacking a few shots early in the first and third quarters. He's making them and being aggressive and it all has added up to 3.6 cash counters per game with 3.3 boards and 1.7 assists in 25.5 mpg on the year. He's positioned for late-round value for the foreseeable future.

Iman Shumpert scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block over 29 minutes in Wednesday's win over the Jazz.

Shumpert is taking some absurd shots (and making them) and his injury history makes this all seem unsustainable, but he has a locked in role with this team and his current 25 mpg seems like a good fit. He's bringing back top 80-110 value (9/8 cat) so he needs to be owned in 12-team formats until the wheels fall off. If they fall off.

Iman Shumpert scored 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting with four triples, three boards and four steals on Monday.

Shumpert got hot tonight, but we still like Bogdan Bogdanovic (16 points on 6-of-13 shooting with five rebounds, four triples and three assists) as the wing to own in Sacramento. Eventually Bogdanovic should take on the starting role and Shumpert will be an afterthought.
