    The Jazz waive Isaac Haas.

Haas was never expected to make the team with 14 players already under guaranteed contracts and Royce O'Neale likely being the 15th. Haas, undrafted in 2018 out of Purdue, will likely go to the G-League or overseas.

The Jazz have signed center Isaac Haas but will waive him and send him to the G-League.

He'll always have the contract signing. And the potential salary guarantees that wouldn't come with a straight G-League deal.

The News-Sentinel reported that Purdue center Issac Haas has signed a free agent deal with the Utah Jazz according to the official Twitter of Purdue's men's basketball program.

The almost 7'3'' Haas was was the last addition to draft and the largest player there but was not selected due to concerns about his mobility, poor rebounding, health (fractured elbow) and possible character issues stemming from a civil-lawsuit from a fellow Purdue student. He will join the Jazz for the Salt Lake City Summer League that runs from July 2-5 and will likely be on their roster from July 6-17 in Las Vegas when all 30 NBA teams will participate in that summer league.

Purdue center Isaas Haas was a late addition to this year’s NBA draft combine in Chicago.

At almost 7’3″, Haas is the tallest among the 70 players at the combine. His standing reach (9’3.5″) ranks third among centers and his wingspan is tied for fourth (7’5″). Haas fractured his elbow in March and has been rehabbing since. He’s cleared for workouts but not yet for contact. This lack of clearance could be a reason he hasn’t yet met with any teams as could his projected talent level in the NBA, or due to a civil-lawsuit he’s facing from a female Purdue student.
