Isaiah Hartenstein

Fantasy News

  • Isaiah Hartenstein - F/C - Houston Rockets

Isaiah Hartenstein was with the G-League's Rio Grande Valley Vipers during the Rockets' season finale on Tuesday.

Hartenstein looked like the backup center coming out of the preseason but Houston quickly found different lineup combinations to avoid playing him. The young big ended up with 7.9 mpg in 28 appearances, landing outside the top-400.

  • Isaiah Hartenstein - F/C - Houston Rockets

Isaiah Hartenstein (right Achilles soreness) will not play on Sunday against the Pelicans.

Hartenstein has been sidelined for over a week now and is buried on the depth chart in Houston, so there's no fantasy impact.

  • Isaiah Hartenstein - F/C - Houston Rockets

The official NBA injury report is listing Isaiah Hartenstein as out for tonight’s game against the Warriors due to right Achilles soreness.

The German-American forward has been playing well in the G League this year but he is not a part of the rotation lately. The Rockets were able to come to terms with Danuel House on Tuesday which means that Hartenstein isn’t likely to see an action until the end of the season regardless of his injury.

  • Isaiah Hartenstein - F/C - Houston Rockets

Isaiah Hartenstein has been recalled by the Rockets on Saturday.

The Rockets add some depth with Kenneth Faried out on Sunday and Nene expected to miss either Sunday or Monday’s game. Hartenstein, the Rockets’ 2017 second-round pick, has been dominating the G-League with 19.5 points, 14.8 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.1 blocks, 0.7 triples but hasn’t gotten much opportunity with the Rockets with 8.2 minutes across 27 games.

  • Isaiah Hartenstein - F/C - Houston Rockets

The Rockets announced that they have recalled rookie Isaiah Hartenstein from the G-League.

Hartenstein has been out of the rotation in the last few games and he isn’t likely to see much, if any, playing time tonight. He is just 20 years old and a nice prospect for deep dynasty leagues.

  • Isaiah Hartenstein - F/C - Houston Rockets

The Rockets have assigned Isaiah Hartenstein to the G-League.

Hartenstein was working as the backup center earlier in the year but recently got bumped down a peg by the return of Nene. The fact that Marquese Chriss couldn't beat out either is fairly illustrative, but besides the point. This could be a down-today, up-tomorrow situation but either way Hartenstein isn't much of a fantasy asset regardless of league depth.

  • Nene - C/F - Houston Rockets

Nene (calf) will make his season debut on Saturday vs. the Bulls.

Aside from bumping rookie Isaiah Hartenstein from the rotation, there’s not a whole lot of fantasy implications here but we’re glad Nene is back.

  • Clint Capela - C - Houston Rockets

Clint Capela (hand) and Eric Gordon (foot) will both play on Friday against the Grizzlies.

While Capela and Gordon are good to go, Michael Carter-Williams (left knee soreness) will not play. MCW is probably sitting as a precautionary measure. Isaiah Hartenstein (ankle) will also be available to play and might get more run with Marquese Chriss (ankle) still out.

  • Marquese Chriss - F - Houston Rockets

The Rockets have ruled Marquese Chriss (ankle), Isaiah Hartenstein (ankle) and Nene (old) out of Tuesday's exhibition game.

Chriss and Hartenstein are missing a great chance to stake claim to the backup center job tonight as Clint Capela is also sitting out. Zhou Qi is the only healthy center going right now. Nobody here should be on fantasy radars until we get into the 18-team territories.
