Isaiah Hartenstein and the Houston Rockets have agreed to push back the date to guarantee his deal for 2019-2020 season.

This move will afford the Rockets more flexibility as they look to round out the rest of their roster. Harenstein figures to see decent minutes as a backup Center this season, even with the addition of Tyson Chandler.

Isaiah Hartenstein is out for the remainder of Summer League after leaving in a wheelchair with an MRI planned for what looks like a sprained ankle.

It obviously sounds worse than a typical sprain, so let's hope it's nothing worse. Hartenstein should have plenty of time to recover by training camp and he may be Clint Capela's backup this season.

Playing in the Rockets' system for the past two years, Hartenstein hopes to carve out role at center following Nene Hilario's departure. He needs to continue to have games like these in order to show that he can capitalize on his potential.

The official NBA injury report is listing Isaiah Hartenstein as out for tonight’s game against the Warriors due to right Achilles soreness.

The German-American forward has been playing well in the G League this year but he is not a part of the rotation lately. The Rockets were able to come to terms with Danuel House on Tuesday which means that Hartenstein isn’t likely to see an action until the end of the season regardless of his injury.
