    G, Detroit Pistons

The Pistons will sign guard Isaiah Whitehead to a two-way contract.

Whitehead has been playing overseas this year after spending two seasons with the Nets. He logged 73 games as a rookie, including 26 starts, but only played in 16 in his second season before being let go. With Ish Smith now back in the fold the Pistons probably won't need Whitehead to play much time but he's fine emergency depth either way.

    G, Denver Nuggets

Isaiah Whitehead has signed with Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia.

Whitehead was waived shortly after the Nets traded him to the Nuggets. Whitehead played meaningful minutes for the Nets during the 2016-17 season, but barely saw any action last year as he only appeared in 13 games averaging 11.3 minutes per game.

The Denver Nuggets have waived Isaiah Whitehead after officially completing the trade sending forwards Darrell Arthur and Kenneth Faried, a 2019 protected first round pick and a future second round draft pick to the Brooklyn Nets.

Well, that was fast, though to be expected as the Nuggets are looking to dump as much salary as possible to avoid an excessive luxury tax hit. Whitehead should get a camp invite somewhere. It remains to be seen how Manimal and Arthur fit with the Nets’ extremely stacked frontcourt.

    G, Brooklyn Nets

The guarantee on Isaiah Whitehead's $1.54 million salary for next season has been pushed back to July 31 according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

The Nets are looking to spend some money and they're keeping their options open, and Whitehead must feel good about extending the deadline, or at least that's what appears to be on the outside. Whitehead has fallen on the depth chart but came out of college with an interesting stat set. Regardless, he's on the outside looking in for fantasy owners.

Isaiah Whitehead is still dealing with an injured right wrist and will not be part of Brooklyn's Summer League roster.

Whitehead is entering his third season with the Nets but only played in 16 games this season after logging 73 as a rookie. Brooklyn has strong depth in the backcourt so he's pretty far off the fantasy radar.

    PG, Brooklyn Nets

Isaiah Whitehead will undergo surgery to a repair a ligament injury in his right wrist.

Whitehead isn't a fantasy option as he has only played in 19 games this season failing to impress. He shouldn't be a lock to return next season as the Nets will be loaded with D'Angelo Russell, Spencer Dinwiddie and Jeremy Lin at the point guard position.

    SG, Brooklyn Nets

Isaiah Whitehead will not play on Tuesday when the Nets take on the Sixers.

Whitehead is dealing with a sprained right wrist and has not suited up for the Nets since February 22nd. He's only played 19 minutes across four games since the beginning of February, and while most of his DNPs have more to do with his G-League assignment than the wrist injury Whitehead isn't a fantasy option either way.

Isaiah Whitehead (wrist) will not play on Saturday against the Heat.

Whitehead hasn’t been an option all season, but at least Caris LeVert (top-150 value over the last two weeks) will get his usual run off the bench. On a related note, Spencer Dinwiddie has fallen off a cliff since moving to the bench, posting just top-250 value over the last two weeks. LeVert is the preferred play here.

Isaiah Whitehead will miss the game against the Magic on Wednesday with a sprained right wrist.

Whitehead has been inactive for the last seven games as the Nets continue to roll with D'Angelo Russell, Spencer Dinwiddie and Caris Levert in their backcourt. He belongs to the waiver wire and is not expected to rejoin the rotation any time soon.
