Jabari Parker

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker (personal) was back at practice after missing Saturday's game because of a death in the family.

Our condolences to Parker. He should be ready for Chicago's next game, though obviously he'll get the night off if he's not feeling up to it. Look for him to be a steady rotation player with the Bulls shorthanded on the wing, though his playing time might not be sufficient for more than deep-league value.

Jabari Parker (personal) will miss Saturday's game against the Hornets.

It has been a very tumultuous year for Parker, who is somehow producing better than he has all season over the last two weeks on account of his shot falling at an unlikely high percentage. It's hard to endorse his outlook when he's only playing 15 minutes per game.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker went scoreless in Wednesday's win over the Heat, missing his only shot and corralling two rebounds in 14 minutes.

This certainly isn't what anyone hoped to see from Parker, especially after he put up 22 points on 15 shots in Tuesday's loss. While this total dud underscores our issues with his stat set, consider one shot in 14 minutes as a serious anomaly for a player who's as narrow-minded as Parker. We're not big fans of his fantasy outlook but if you are rolling with him, he'll be better than this on most nights.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker scored 22 points on 10-of-15 shooting (including a three) with nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 23 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's loss to the Nets.

Parker could see an uptick in his normally deficient stat set because of the silly season style of play the Bulls employ, but he's not going to be anything but a late-round guy if he can stay on the floor for the Bulls.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Washington Wizards

Jabari Parker (right patellar tendon strain) is available to play on Friday vs. the Clippers.

Parker hasn't been getting a lot of playing time since reentering the rotation and remains a better fit for deeper leagues.

Jabari Parker (right patellara tendon strain) says that he plans to play on Friday after going through Thursday's practice.

Parker was a late scratch on Wednesday with the issue. He also added that he expects to play more than the 10 minutes he received in his last game against the Cavs, as he thinks of himself as more of a 25 mpg guy. With Jim Boylen calling the shots, good luck even getting in that ballpark if you can't defend. Parker's an empty scorer whose stat set makes him an option for the desperate.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker is dealing with a right patellar tendon strain.

Parker didn't play on Wednesday, though the Bulls didn't give any status update until about halfway through the game. If he's sidelined for any length of time it'll only improve the fantasy prospects of Bobby Portis and Robin Lopez. Parker is just a volume scorer who isn't a recommended add in most formats, though he might make some sense for certain deep-league builds.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker put up 10 points, three rebounds, two assists and two threes in 12 minutes on Monday.

Parker also had some atrocious moments on defense, as expected. He sat the entire third quarter after seeing some first half minutes, so it still looks like he's at the edge of the rotation even with Wendell Carter Jr. out. He's only an option for scoring in deep leagues, and if he ends up on your roster we'd recommend selling high as quickly as possible.

  • Wendell Carter Jr. - F - Chicago Bulls

Bulls insider K.C. Johnson reported that a new MRI revealed ligament damage to Wendell Carter Jr.’s thumb that may need surgery.

The first specialist Carter Jr. saw is recommending surgery but it’s still possible that he sees an additional specialist for another opinion according to Johnson. Either way, it doesn’t look like WCJ will be back anytime soon which makes Bobby Portis a must add. Additionally, Robin Lopez’s backup role seems a bit more secure while Jabari Parker might actually stick in the rotation with Portis getting more run at center.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker played 18 minutes in Thursday's loss, scoring 15 points with three rebounds, two assists, two threes and a block.

Parker's averaged 18 mpg in his last three and has double digit points in each, so we'll see if he can keep it up. There's some very bottom-barrel appeal in his empty scoring, but the ideal play is to sell-high (if you can call this, or whatever Parker is about to do, 'high') on some poor sap before the bottom drops out again.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker scored 18 points off the bench in 17 minutes on Tuesday against the Lakers, hitting 7-of-10 shots (including two threes) with three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

You might be able to squeeze some lower-end lines out of Parker while the Bulls showcase him and sit Robin Lopez, but that's just about it.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Bulls coach Jim Boylen told reporters that Jabari Parker will play on Tuesday against the Lakers.

Boylen added that Jabari has "practiced very well." He has been in and out of the lineup often lately, only playing when the Bulls are short of depth. Parker could be on the move out of Chicago soon. He has no fantasy value currently.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker scored 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds and two assists in 19 minutes off the bench on Saturday against the Jazz.

Parker is getting minutes whenever the Bulls get banged up but he has no fantasy value in Chicago, and no real fantasy value wherever else he could be traded.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jim Boylen said that Jabari Parker remains behind Shaq Harrison on the team's depth chart.

In other words, Parker is still out of the rotation. Boylen hinted at more playing time for Parker earlier in January but aside from a one-game blip on the radar there doesn't seem to be much happening. There's no room for Parker at the four spot with Bobby Portis now back, and he's stuck behind Harrison — who is a point guard by trade, mind you — at the three. Hopefully you sold high early in the year.

  • Jabari Parker - F - Chicago Bulls

Jabari Parker was allotted 14 minutes off the bench in Friday's 119-116 loss to the Pacers and was able to tally four points, four rebounds and one assist.

Don't expect this to be a common occurrence as it was just a likely one-game adjustment post-Justin-Holiday trade. The Bulls started Chandler Hutchinson at small forward and he had four points on 2-of-6 shooting and three boards to his name. The Bulls hinted at more time for Parker but it would be best to be prudent and play a wait and see game before investing in Parker.
