  • Paul George
    SF, Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers are preparing to be without Paul George (right rotator cuff and left labrum tear) for at least the first 10 games of the season.

If he only misses 10 games that would put George in line to return on November 13 versus the Rockets. This seems to be the best case scenario and Moe Harkless and JaMychal Green figure to absorb most of George's minutes while he is out.

JaMychal Green went 3-of-7 from 3-point range as part of his 13 points and 3 rebounds for the Clippers on Sunday.

Green made the most of his twenty minutes as the Clippers were without Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Lou Williams in this game. Green has emerged as a solid stretch big, and he could see a larger role when George or Lenoard are resting during the regular season. When the Clippers are healthy it will be tough for him to deliver late-round value in standard leagues.

The Clippers have officially re-signed JaMychal Green.

Last season Green became a vital part of the Clippers' bench, serving as a perfect compliment as a catch-and-shoot floor spacer to Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell's deadly pick-and-roll game. He'll figure to play an important role again this upcoming season, but won't provide much in fantasy value. That being said, he could emerge as a potential streaming option when forward minutes open up whenever Kawhi Leonard or Paul George rest.

JaMychal Green has agreed to a two-year, $10 million deal to re-sign with the Clippers.

Green, coming off a season where he shot .403 from behind the arc, was expected to have a more robust market than this, but perhaps a chance to work with the new-look Clippers outweighed some extra cash. He'll give the team some floor-spacing and versatility off the bench and could replicate last season's top-200 output with the Clips — though it's worth noting that he was a top-165 play overall thanks to a strong start with Memphis before injuries and limited playing time got to him.

JaMychal Green managed only seven points, eight rebounds and a steal in 31 minutes in Friday's Game 6 loss to the Warriors.

Green was the unfortunate soul who started this game out guarding Kevin Durant. His inclusion in the starting five gave LA a jolt but ultimately they just didn't have the firepower to hang with the reigning champs. Green showed some solid 3-point capabilities this season, and we'll see if he can keep expanding his game moving forward.

JaMychal Green started in Game 5 and scored 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting with three triples in 27 minutes of action in a win over the Warriors on Wednesday.

Green was guarding Kevin Durant for much of his court time during Game 4, and Game 5 was no different. Durant is unguardable, so the 45 points that he scored is not Green's fault. He has been playing well in the starting lineup and there is no reason to believe that his role will change for Game 6.

JaMychal Green will remain in the starting lineup in Game 5 on Wednesday.

Green logged 22 minutes in the same role in Game 4, though it's not surprising that the Clippers will stick with the same group considering Ivica Zubac's tough fit in this matchup and Montrezl Harrell's fit in his current role.

JaMychal Green started Game 4 but scored just six points in 22 minutes as the Clippers fell to the Warriors.

Green started over Ivica Zubac who ended up getting a DNP-CD. He started the game guarding Kevin Durant and ended up with the second best opponent effective field goal percentage on the team and the best opponent offensive rebounding percentage on the team. With Zubac not even getting into this game, expect Green to start Game 5.

JaMychal Green got the start for Ivica Zubac on Sunday against the Warriors.

Green outplayed Zubac in Game 3 and it's not surprising we saw a change in the lineup. This game has already tipped and in the early going, Green was matching up with Kevin Durant, while Patrick Beverley was guarding Draymond Green.

JaMychal Green scored 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting with five rebounds, an assist and three 3-pointers in Thursday's Game 3.

Green played much better than Ivica Zubac (17 minutes, 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting with 15 rebounds, a steal and a block) tonight although the box score doesn't show that. Zubac became unplayable after the first seven minutes of the game and Rivers had much better results with Green in the game and Zubac's stats were all in garbage time when the game was out of hand.

JaMychal Green scored 13 points and added seven boards in just 15 minutes of action Monday night.

Montrezl Harrell is the main big man of interest off the Clippers' bench and that seems like the right move given Harrell's success. It's hard to imagine Green getting more than 20-25 minutes at this point.

JaMychal Green got a little extra run in Wednesday’s win over the Jazz and scored 13 points to go with three 3s, two rebounds, one assist, one block and one turnover in 25 minutes.

The 25 minutes were the second-most Green has gotten since being traded to the Clippers in early February. As a Clipper, he’s been getting less than 20 minutes a game on most nights. Additionally, considering he was banged up for much of the early parts of the season, he’s had a year to forget with just top-180/190 value in 9/8-cat since February. As the third big in L.A., it’s hard to see him significantly beating this value next season without a change of scenery.

JaMychal Green (personal) is available to play on Wednesday against the Jazz.

Green should resume his normal role off the bench in the season finale. He doesn't offer much fantasy value.

JaMychal Green will not play in Sunday's game against the Warriors as he is awaiting the birth of his child.

There's not too much fantasy impact here. We wish the Green family a problem-free birth.
